Default How can I tell if I rooted my phone?

How can I tell if I rooted my phone correctly? After trying for hours, I found a script online which claims to have rooted my phone. I was able to delete somethings on the main screens, but in the apps windows not working. Since I'm a nube at phone tech stuff, is there an east way to verify if my phone has been rooted?

Assuming you're posting here because you have an Optimus M, read this-

There's an app called Root check on the play store.

Download and install terminal emulator from the market and open it up. Type "su" no quotes and hit enter. You should see a popup asking for superuser permissions. Then you will be at a # prompt instead of a $ prompt. You are root. Or you could check in your app drawer and see if you have an app called superuser installed but root checker on the market works too
