Default CM7 Progress

Progress is being made so that the VM701 and LG55C has CM7. Developers are needed.

i think developers tend to go for more powerful phones but you may find someone.

Ask Mobstergunz to port it over. He's cool. Just ask.

If you have a ClockWorkMod recovery installed then it might help to use QtADB to get all the info he will need to port CM-7 over. It will also do a heck of a lot more. It's a must have for any rooted user, as long as you have a CWMod recovery.
It can be found here: http://androidforums.com/faqs/443072-adb-guide.html

Eh, QTAdb isn't going to help any at this point. We've already got all of the information we need. The issue now is in relation to Qualcomm vendor data that LGE is so kind not to share with us. While its not part of the GPL agreement its going to be very hard to get a working port without the Qualcomm source or the Sensor(s) source. The Slider and the Q are the exact same phones with slightly different keymapping (at a kernel level). CyanogenMod7 and CyanogenMod9 are both in very very very early stages on these devices. We're hard at work trying to get a viable port going, but its getting to be more of a pain than its really worth at this point. These phones appear to be a cross of the HTC Buzz, the Optimus V (One, S and other variants) , and are also slightly new (in terms of hardware.) None of the repo's I've found have the viable data we need to get anything more than the sound working.

Maybe you touch bases with BobZohme, he might be able to help?

Yeah, I'd love to get some assistance from BobzHome, but his repo is very incomplete and it looks as though he's given up on it. Unfortunately the build from his repo has absolutely no hardware working. The accelerometer, sensors, sound, and radio are all shot using his repo. At this point I think we're going to probably focus on ICS because I've already built a really good Gingerbread based rom. Of course if ICS works we could eventually move to AOSP and CM7.

Sometimes my thoughts and ideas hit a home run, others I can't get as much as a walk to first base. Oh well.
I'm sure ya'll will figure it out.
