I'm trying to download the beta Music app from the Android market. After it finishes downloading, it always says "Package file was not signed correctly" and it fails to install. Is there an easy way to fix this?

Which build are you on?
Did you try wiping market cache?
Did you try booting into recovery and wiping cache/dalvik cache?
If those steps dont' work:
1- Using a root file manager, move the following file to your sdcard:
/system/etc/init.d/01mvdalvik
2- From the settings menu, choose applications, select all, find the market, then clear market data and cache
3- Reboot into recovery, and wipe cache and under advanced wipe dalvik
4- Reboot and try installing from the market.

One thing I would change is the color to a darker blue...just personal preference, but if you decide to do that I would love to know since I don't own a computer and can't theme myself. Lol I don't think you understand how grateful id be
Looks awesome, but needs some tweaking yet. It has the on-screen buttons (menu, home, back) they have a different placement than the V does, so it is confusing.
I didn't play with the customizing too much, so some of this stuff may be there I just haven't found it yet. It has 5 home screen and spreads all of your default apps across 3 screens, why not just condense them to one as default? It did not see a way to make page one loop to page 5 nor add more than one row of dock buttons. It also kept crashing when trying to load my Go Launcher wallpaper.
I only fiddled with it for about 30 or 40 minutes and it is very new. I will give it a try again in a week or so.
edit: crap, i used the wrong font. i will do it again...
Here, i think this is the right font, i changed the blue too, like this better... BetterBlue10-17.zip
Omg you are awesome!! Id thank you a thousand times if I could lol.
I'm downloading it right now, but sadly I can't flash it till I get home from work :/ but thanks again!!
Speaking of themes, does anyone have a standard CM7 theme such as what BackSIDE/BobZ would look like without the green theme installed? I know Jerry had mentioned something about fixing the colors which are bothering me a bit and would prefer to flash and use something else until an update comes.

I'm using the current 10/17 build.
I had the Music beta app before with one of your previous builds (preinstalled).
I tried moving the 01mvdalvik folder to the sd card with root explorer, clearing the market data and cache, and rebooting into recovery and wiping cache and dalvik cache. It didn't seem to fix the error.
This is what happens every time I try to install the Music beta app:

Didn't that come installed with BACKside? The one in the rom is a more updated version than what's on the Market. I tried installing it from the Market and also got an error, so maybe that's why. I could be totally wrong though.

It was in a previous build. The current 10/17 build has the old Music app. I've tried searching for the error on Google, but didn't find much.

Wow! Loving BetterBlue! Great Job!
I only have only teensy, tiny problem, though. how to I get the round App Drawer button? Mine's still the square one. Not a big issue, but if it's a quick fix...

Just search Ice Cream Sandwich on the Market. Its the theme developed by Kovdev.
nvm, i just saw your screenshot. You will have to long press on the app drawer icon, go to edit, click the icon, then click adwtheme icon packs, should see the round icon in there. just select that.

Pink theme
Alright, finally got it (mostly) right
I present my first public theme, "Think Pink":
Notes:
Transparent status bar
Kept the clock white for readability
Heart battery indicator-gets smaller and lighter as battery drains, gets rapidly bigger when its charging (reminds me of the grinch's heart growing 3 sizes in the cartoon, lol)
Caviar Dreams font
I just checked the volume sliders, and they look kind of terrible . I didn't account for the color of the window when I chose the color for the sliders. sorry. I can change it if someone wants me too.
One of you guys should start a new thread "BACKside Themes" where you can show off screenshots and offer downloads of your themes.
I am going to start said thread. I've been trying to find the perfect system them to go with my current GO Launcher theme with no luck. Maybe if we have a repository for all themes and an exchange of knowledge they will continue to get better.
sadielynn beat me to it. That's what I get for not refreshing my browser when I first wake up.

Anyone that wants one of my themes for Bobz rom let me know and I'll make a version for that. Being as I'm not on his rom there wont be any screens but they'll be identical so it wont need them anyway.
Try plugging your phone in, going usb storage, go to your your usb, then android, data, delete com.google.android.music and com.android.music. then turn off usb storage and try to install and run the app.
I did a fresh install. Music beta works now.
I also finally installed link2SD. That made a huge difference. If you "link" all of your apps to the sd card, it moves all of the dalvik cache files... this gives more space for the market download cache (so no more "not enough storage space" errors in the Android Market). I can install as many apps as I want now. No errors at all. Nice.
Hey I know its smart to wipe cache/dalvik cache before flashing a new theme/kernel. In the past I have run into issues wiping these leading to bootloops (just wiping, not flashing anything else). I would think it has to do with wiping the dalvik cache but I'm not certain. Any thoughts on the matter
*Edit*
I also may think having data2ext set up is causing me issues in the matter...

Crackle app works though. It can be a little touchy. If the video freezes you seek about a second and it works. Only happens at the beginning. Don't have the link but its on xda.
Kongregate app just links to games on kongregate site. Also, games don't seem to work well, leme know if you figure out anything.
Yeah, it just links to games, but the interface is nice, there's a useful favorites list, and there are achievements to unlock for each game. Pretty damn cool.
First, I installed Flash 10.3. Then I changed my Cyanogenmod performance settings to "ondemand, min 600 MHz, max 729 MHz" and restarted the phone.
All Kongregate games run full speed now (at least the ones I've tested so far), even while running Pandora in the background. The games in Kongregate are better than 90% of the games in the Android Market. haha

Google nav still tells me GPS signal lost. Drove 100 miles yesterday so it frustrated me and I switched to my copilot that I have for backup and didn't lose it. Maps are on internal so I have no idea why this keeps happening.

I have the same problem on the 10/17 build. It randomly loses the GPS signal in Google Navigation. Not sure why.
I'll check into the gps issues. I haven't tried using navigation for more than a few minutes. Next time I drive across the valley, I'll use it for the 40 or so minutes it takes and see if I get any disconnects.
I've been having a problem recently with the clock on both the green theme notification bar and beautiful widgets being around 5 minutes slower than the actual time when I turn on my phone. The problem usually corrects itself within a few minutes of having the phone on. However, I would like the time to be correct when I turn on the phone.
