Default Looping on loading screen

Hi,

I have a San Francisco 2 Orange handset, 10 months old from new, and at the moment I can't get it to load past the orange logo screen.

It wwas working fine this morning, then I got a system message asking to delete some text messages. At that point the phone froze, and I had to do a battery pull to get it re-started.

After that, the Android logo screen appeaers, then the Orange animation for the Logo. It then shows the screen with the Orange logo in the centre of it. It stays on this screen for about 30 seconds before the logo animation kicks in again and it just loops at this screen.

I've spoken to Orange tech support, who were useless. I've tried searching for some sort of hard re-set/re-boot option, but I can't find anything unless you can actually get into the menu on the phone.

Is there anyway to re-set this phone to factory settings when you can't get access to the menu, or am I going to have to wait until I can get to a Orange store at the weekend.

Thanks.

Cairnsy
