Factory Reset.. broken?

Hello,

I just tried (3 times) to factory reset my phone and I hit erase everything. It reboots, and when it loads, everything is the exact same as it was before, the factory reset/hard reset didn't work.

Any clues?

You talkin about:

Settings/Privacy/Factory data reset.....Reset Phone Button??

Never tried, but Why do it??

Why?? You installing new ROM....

You can wipe Data/Factory reset in Recovery......usual when flashing new ROM.....you should also Wipe Cache Partition and Dalvik Cache from Advanced.

Is this what you want to do?

The only thing to do is a factory reset.

take out your sim card.Put battery back in and power on

press emergency call.

type in *983*987# (don't leave any spaces)

that brings up the "erase everything" screen

press "erase everything" then wait

Wait for the orange logo to disappear then your phone is as new again. Simple!

You will lose everything on the phone, but at least you can use your phone again!
