Smile Buying android phone (zte) And use it in ukraine?

Hi there First post from me

I have a question
If i buy a ZTE blade in Sweden, will i be able to use it with Ukraine provider (ukraine MTS or kiev star) ?
Someone told me there was a some imei lock in that country?
But i don't really believe it, used many Norwegian and Swedish phones in Ukraine. But never android.
Does anyone now?

I would presume that the Ukraine would use the same network standards used in the EU, so yes, it should.
The phone needs to be networked unlocked to use another SIM then Conviqs, it can be done for free (Google it)

Welcome to the Android forums!
It will work. I've bought mine in UK and use it in whole Europe, Asia and Australia without problems. The phone was locked to Orange, but you can get the free unlock code, for example from this site (and informations how to remove the annoying Orange software) :

I do have an MTC, MTS 1055 tablet I would sell for $200 because the cables burned in a bag by the stove soon after I bought it. Its in perfect shape with about 15 minutes of use in it's lifetime.
