Sorry guys, I didn't mean to come off as complaining. I understand that some people are really sensitive when looking at minute things. Some people just look at the big picture where as I try to make everything perfect and of great quality. Just two different perspectives, I guess.
Anyway, I think that once MWC I'll have my decision. I hope that they don't pull the ERIS trick though...can you imagine? Buying a nexus and then maybe a few weeks later the Bravo comes out. Yikes!

News, just be sure and get some pics. Otherwise all this will be for not. There are ways to do it without jeopardizing anyone's career or identity. Then you will be able to say. "I told you so." Just saying you read or saw something from your source means nothing.
Otherwise, you will still be questioned on having any credibility.

+1 I have to agree with you here. I actually enjoyed the thread that got closed because although it wasn't always on point for the most part (aside from the wars) it was entertaining. We all know that if the moderators come close this a new one will just be opened up and everything will continue. I'd say let's stay on point...ish...if you don't have news, but have a good quip then go for it, just keep the bickering away.
No one has to believe anything out of anyone, so just ignore it. If news doesn't want to post any more because of it that's fine too. We have seen that threat before, but I don't think he's going to go away because he wants to make all the doubters (yes, myself included) stfu.

I concur that I would like some proof as well, but it's pointless to continue asking at this point. He knows we'd like to see pictures or something that confirms his claims, but he hasn't come through and probably won't...I would predict that he will bring more statements though....

So you know what I did? Not sure if any of you saw my threads in the other forums, but here is a quick recap:
-Storm 1 owner
-Wanted to switch to Android OS after many months of research
-Waited for new Verizon phone to be announced early Nov (nothing)
-Was told to wait for Black Friday sale (nothing)
-Was told to wait for Xmas sale (nothing)
-Was told to wait for announcement at CES (nothing)
-Couldnt wait anymore and bought a Droid
-Realized the Droid is not for me (various reasons, text entry was #1)
-Returned Droid (about 2 weeks later) and got a Storm2
-Realized the Storm2 is the exact same as the Storm1 with 5.0 OS (browser speed, text entry speed all the same)
-Returned Storm2 about 2 days after I got it (didnt want to waste my eligibility on a phone (storm2) that is marginally better, if that, than my current phone (storm1))
-Storm1 owner (again)

No bickering, I'm just trying to give him some advice to hopefully keep people off his back. God knows we can use new info. I have nothing against NewsR. I hope he comes out with some really great info that does blow us away. If he doesn't I won't bash him. I pretty sure I've got my expectations set at the right level. Well, when I had the Droid for 2 weeks, I started to realize how much I missed the little things of BB. I use the Storm for work as well, so I have Corporate Email, and its just little things about the email integration and espeically calendar integration. All the calendar widgets on Android sucked and really weren't what I needed. Had the Droid been keyboard less, I could have lived with the weaker email/calendar usage (and lack of task syncing) and stuff, but I found that I got to a point where I stopped using the keyboard and it just felt like I had unecessary hardware. Thats why I'm going to jump on this phone (if it even exists)

That thing is hideous, even if it had a 2 GHz dual core snapdragon processor, Android 4.0, washed your dishes and did your laundry for you, I would still not get it....although the laundry and dishes features would make me rub my chin and contemplate for a few seconds....

In this case I'd have to buy 2 phones and start a family plan...a Bravo or N1 for my phone usage and this POS for my laundry and dishes...it would make life so much nicer haha totally worth 9.99 a month :-)

And the above advice comes to you from the same guy who guaranteed that there would be a big announcement that the Bravo would be out before February. Yep, all those sheep followed him for 20+ pages. What a crock!
Alright, so off the wall thought here...(and hopefully something that gets us back to "theories")...
Any chance the Incredible could be a Tegra based phone? There's all that talk about 720p, Divx/Xvid, etc... That's not to say that Snapdragon isn't just as capable at handling those things but i wonder if the Incredible is HTC's foray into the nVidia camp and it's what Verizon plans to be the differentiator between it and the Bravo/Passion/("Nexus One") phone...thoughts?

I have been thinking this same exact thing. You dont see much advertising from HTC though. Nothing close the the advertising by Motorola for their Droid. On second thought... I see a second wave of Droid ads getting pushed on superbowl sunday.

I am new to this forum but I have been reading it for months, I currently am using a $hitty LG VOYAGER, i can wait to get a BRAVO or INCREDIBLE or any other phone with the capabilities that these phones are supposed to offer. I have been reading about the N1 getting dust under the screen, a major turn off. I think that you guys are extremely entertaining. The only people who really know what’s going on is GOOGLE, HTC and VERIZON VPs and PRESIDENTS in my opinion.
