Default New android user, only getting EDGE service

Hey everyone, I recently bought a Jiayu G3 and switched from my iphone to this and it takes some getting used to but overall I like it!

Only problem is that I only get edge service when 3g is enabled and I'm on basically an LTE network. The why wnt 3g work?

You're in Canada, right? The Jaiyu is a Chinese phone that was really intended for use in China, not North America. Problem is this phone doesn't support 3G/WCDMA on the 850MHz band, as used in the US and Canada. GSM/EDGE only.
