Also: Overage/Non-Renewal Rate to be Standardized to $0.05

In order to standardize and simplify the overage/non-renewal rates on the Talk n Text 1200 and the Unlimited Talk n Text plans, Page Plus is lowering the rates to $.05 across the board on October 31, 2012. This means that the overage/non-renewal voice rate will become $.05/minute, SMS and MMS will be $.05 each, and data will be $.05/MB for these two plans.

This change will make it easier for everyone to understand, as well as provide an excellent value for customers who run out of something in their plan before their monthly renewal date and want to add more. For example, they will now be able to add 200 MB of additional data to either plan for just $10, and it will roll over if they don't use it all.

Does page plus offer good service in the golden meadow area in Louisiana for people working about 20 miles out offshore?
My Verizon phone gets absolutely no service out there?

If your Verizon phone doesn't, then Page Plus won't either.

FYI - these plan changes were delayed due to hurricane Sandy, but they are now live on Page Plus - both in their system and on their web site.
