Android forums app and my phone

The topic of discussion your phone and the android forums app.

I love the idea of apps they give you quick and easy access to the things you want to get to without clicking around and loading 10 different pages to get to were you want to go. This is why I downloaded the android forums app better and faster access to the forums, well the problem that I run into constantly is a deal breaker for me using the app.
When I write slightly longer answer to a post the app pulls thr loading screen as I click the submit button and it just hangs there. I have left it for 10 plus minutes and it was still stuck at the loading screen when I went back nothing was posted to the forum it seems to do that for every 3rd post that I do with the app.

So what is your experience with the app is this a known problem or am I doing something wrong?

I have been using the app quite extensively as of late and have not seen anything like this. I am running Android 2.2 on an HTC Incredible.

Are you sure it's not a spotty Network/WiFi connection? It sounds like there is trouble when your phone is trying to communicate to the androidforums database. It could be some sort of software bug, but I tend to think this is a connectivity problem.

I was in my house where I have both 4g and 3g but I usually use wifi. I personally do not think it would be a connectivity issue since I have no problem browsing the web and posting over the web actually works every time an regardless of the signal strength. Even if it is the signal I still think there might be a process in line where it puts the post for slightly later upload when there is strong enough signal. It should not in any circumstance make the phone hang at the loading screen for more than 2 minutes or so I think!!!
