Default Where does Philips V808 fit in?

So we just heard about the Philips V808 Android Phone. I'm a little bit skeptical because the screen wasn't booted so you couldn't see Android running and Philips isn't exactly known for their phones...

But supposing it is the real deal, where will this fit into the market? It doesn't seem to look as good as the existing options and it has similar specs: 3.2 inch touchscreen, 3.2MP camera, etc...

If it works well and is priced low I guess it has a shot. I'm not exactly familiar with Philips' other offerings and I'm guessing most people aren't. I don't want to knock them because in reality, this is one of the awesomest things about Android: Philips can focus on making a great phone and not have to worry about developing and/or paying for an OS to run.

And they better ditch the V808 name... how about the "Philips HeadScrewdriver V808"? Somehow I think that would instigate some problems hehe

It turns out, it fits into China:
Philips V808 Android Based OPhone OS Handset

It's not really an Android phone, at least I assume the OPhone OS isn't compatible with Android software.

I think OPhone is Android. Like a different version. Sorta like Ubuntu is Linux. It think its pretty much like a custom version of Android.

Yeah ophone is China mobile's custom android Rom. Not sure how similar it is to the standard android build but I know it won't be using the android market.
