A million bucks is pocket change for Elton John so I doubt he did it soley for the money. Neither has yet to comment.

And a new Odd Couple is born! Seriously though, Elton John is the consummate performer, bar none, and I think he is a good guy. Perhaps he and Lush have found some common ground over the years. It's pretty hard to find someone that is all bad, regardless of differences in politics or persuasion.
