I have a Samsung Acclaim, and am new to customizing my phone, although I am very computer savvy so I can understand the lingo so to speak. I am trying to flash the ROM of my Acclaim. Phone has already been rooted, and works alot better since using Root Uninstall to remove some programs. I was trying to give UberAcclaim ROM a go, and was not successful. It would start to open the file and not verify the signature.
In a nutshell, I need to know how to install a custom recovery. For that particular ROM, it recommends ClockWorkMod Recovery, however after downloading ROM Manager, it says it's unavailable for the Acclaim. I read where the developer said theres a different CWM Recov, but the link was dead to get to it. I have seen several guides saying what you need to install, but not HOW to install it, or where to install it.
Any help is greatly appreciated, be it an explanation, or a link that can help.
