I'm in Manhattan standing on the corner of 31st st and 7th ave. My phone shows the 4G icon on the notification bar, with the arrows going nuts. I'm connected, right? Wrong, no active data. Not sure if this helps with anything, but it's what is happening to me.
Has anyone heard of this Rom working with 4G any where else? Maybe they're working on the towers in my area and that's why I have no 4G?

:D:D:D:D:D Jejeje I just did the s-off from Moonshine my phone says now K2_CL PVT SHIP S-OFF RL but still can't flash the .img image from the K2_CL_JB_45_S_Boost_US_2.04.1050.2-1.03.1050.7_release I'm doing something wrong I guess.

the adb command is: fastboot flash boot boot.img
make sure you have the boot.img placed in the same spot you have fastboot.exe placed

I've installed the latest CWM recovery without flicker and followed your instructions. After the install is finished I start to reboot I get a message about root possibly being lost and asking if I want to fix it. First I chose Yes and rebooted to hear the chime about 3 or 4 times and I can't boot. Choosing No also won't boot. Next I tried wiping the cache and dalvik right after the zip install and chose to fix root and was able to boot. I get past the point of the upgrading message and get stuck on Android is upgrading...starting apps.

Did you do a factory reset? Mine wouldn't work without doing one. I also wiped the cache and Dalvik. ;)

the kernel included is not a custom kernel, it is the stock kernel from the K2_UL european rom. Any issues with the kernel are out of my control. i am going to build a rom specific kernel for this device later on. As for battery life i haven't really had any issues with it.

Have you been able to see a 17hour battery life like Boost Boasts about?

I think it is possible with "normal" use. If you are in an area with a strong signal it helps a lot. Or use Wifi when possible.

I don't use my phone much at work. 2 days a week that is 12 hours. I am experimenting with just turning off data during that time. Voice & Text is good enough without going full airplane mode. I also made sure I turn off unnecessary notifications in all apps. I can get 18 hours doing that.

Of course, Screen Brightness is a big factor too.

BTW, I am still on stock ICS.
