Help multiple problems with Motorola motosmart

Hi

I've had a Motorola motosmart for a year; over past week losing signal frequently, has suddenly deleted a lot of my contacts, not always receiving incoming calls; texts arriving several hours after they are sent to me. I've checked my network and coverage is OK. Removed battery and replaced. Any ideas?
