So both Target and Radio Shack are doing huge discounts for the S5. I am looking at upgrading my wife and I from the S3 to at least the S4, if not the S5.

Of course on Sprint's site we could be paying anywhere from $100-$200 to upgrade (not interested in subsidizing the cost of the phone through Easy Pay).

Does the $1 (or whatever) price at an outside retailer work when you have an activated line and you're upgrading? I have been meaning to go by one of these places and ask an employee but I haven't yet had time. It does say "with two-year agreement," which is fine, but basically my wife's S3 is starting to crap the bed and why would I pay $35+ for a replacement when she can upgrade?

Thanks!
