Email from Verizon. Double dats same price?

Someone else posted on Android Central, you're not the only one who got it anyway :) Call them and see what they say, apparently they just ask you to confirm your phone number. Or just call regular CS and ask them if know about it or can at least verify it's not a scam thing.

Edit: You obviously don't want to give any truly personal info out, like a SS# or account passwords etc.

Tried this a couple times with no luck. They tell me I need to be on an Edge plan. I'm on a traditional Family Share plan. Apparently, Verizon could care less about loyal customers. It's all about emptying my pockets.
You should have 3 gB now, right?

That is 50% more than you did have most likely. I have been on the Family Share Plan two years after converting from an Unlimited Plan on my personal phone. For me, it was simple $$ logic. Sometime during the past year, Verizon sent me an email stating I would have 3 gB now instead of the 2 gB I signed up for.

VZW pays attention to their customers, I've been with VZW now 20+ years and yes, they tend to follow the trends slower than T-Mobile or Sprint.... but they have been the single best coverage provider over the 20 years I have been with them. And they will typically give you a one time 'thank you' when you are talking to their Customer Service departments... I have had several $20 and $35 rebates applied to my account to waive off the upgrade fees. (you don't have a chance at that if you upgrade online only)

Ah, I note you keep your plans separate.... my daughter and I are both frugal and we share the 3 gB data package. Even so, our typical use per month is below 2 gB total.

We purposely don't use MobileData on the road unless we need the GPS mapping us, or we are searching for something we need to know. That way, we can have the important things and not pay too dearly for it.

No casual wasting data on the roads with us. We save that for WiFi at home or the hotel when on vacation.
