Root [ROM] ZV4 updated stock ROM

I have an odd problem... when im on LTE/CDMA my GPS is not working...i tried resetting..all apps etc. I switch to just CDMA and my GPS functions fine. I have have the Z4 rooted rom with updated radio. Any ideas why??
Merry Christmas!!
Try using FasterGPS and see if that straightens it out. It rewrites your gps.conf, worked wonders for me. :)
As for the actual cause, I don't know. :p

yes. you assumed right. again thanks to your detailed instructions. i just came to my g-ma house. sorry for the delay. but not i tried to do the fastboot but it's not working. i put in the two codes into the terminal and it keeps saying no memory on device. I have a 32gb sdcard with 4gb avail. also the phone was whipped clean so im not sure but now my phone wont go into download mode because fastboot trys to work but it dont... it keeps saying processing commands for about 5 mins then it says
[320040]--reset--
[320040]EP1/out FAIL nfo=40 pg0=ffdb840
[320040]--portchange--
[320050]usb_read() transaction failed
[320050]fastboot: oops!
[320180]fastboot: processing commands

then the number switches and keeps saying the same thing still connected to pc running windows 8.1

whats flashify and how to put it on the phone

Vol - + power to boot recovery. You can't flash a full ROM with Flashify AFAIK. Updating to v4 should restore download mode. I don't know if the OTA update would overwrite cwm. I wouldn't risk it.

With cwm recovery, you shouldn't really need download mode, but if it's not restored with v4 and it's really bugging you, you can restore the backup of laf you should've made, or if someone can post a copy.

Ok... after hours of using my brain power i figured it out.... why ya'll aint tell me Fastboot was computer to phone lol i said i was a noob.... lol but damn this lg shit is crazy. i loved how simple galaxies was but hey can't be happy feeling accomplished
I'm fairly certain it's explained in the instructions that fastboot involves sending commands from your computer. I'm guessing the Galaxy is the only phone you have experience with? You can't expect everything is going to be the same on all devices. Please read thoroughly before rushing ahead.

When updating the kernel, there is no visible difference in the "Software Information" menu on the phone. With both ZV3 and ZV4 it reports "Kernel version 3.4.0+". Just to confirm that the kernel did get changed, here is some more info generated via "adb shell cat /proc/version". You can see that the ZV4 kernel has a newer date.

ZV3:
Linux version 3.4.0+ (lgmobile@LGEACI1R3) (gcc version 4.7 (GCC) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Mar 6 12:48:55 KST 2014

ZV4:
Linux version 3.4.0+ (lgmobile@LGEACI2R14) (gcc version 4.7 (GCC) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Aug 18 17:45:38 KST 2014

You can also just run this command in terminal emulator. :)
