Moto 360 or Asus zen watch

This is not listed as a device your looking for..............BUT.
I did not get the Moto 360 because of the area at the bottom of the display. Personal preference :)
I bought the LG R watch and love the thing. I have made numerous watch faces. It works 100% for me at least, with Bluetooth connected to my phone.
There are a lot more forums available for the Moto 360 and the LG R watches. The Zen watch was impossible for me to find local so went with the LG.
I am in and out of the office all day. I just leave my phone hidden away with Bluetooth on and when I return to the office the watch and phone automatically log onto each other and I get all my notices on my watch :) Company has a strict cell phone policy so I can not use my cell phone during work :(

What phone do you have it connected to? The big reasone I had the 360 on the list was because I have the X and i hear i pears well with it. I like the look of the zen. The LG R is more expensive isnt it? I will defeniatly take a look at it though. Thank you for your input. I am just trying to get my research done cause I want to get one with income tax.

I went with the Zenwatch. It's thinner, and the way the band is mounted helps hide the thickness even more, making it look nice and thin instead of like an Oreo cookie strapped to your wrist. I looked at both, just didn't want the thickness of the Moto360. Plus, in my opinion, I think a square screen works so much better for what a smartwatch is for, a round screen just doesn't have the same real estate. Also, and this was a big one for me, the TI CPU in the Moto360 is many years old (same as the CPU in my old Moto X) and not as powerful or efficient as the Snapdragon 400. I know they both work fine, but I think the Zenwatch has more future because of the more modern CPU. Also, the more efficient CPU paired to a slightly bigger battery gives great battery life. Currently at 13% left, after coming off the charger at 6:30 AM, so about 19 hours on. Screen always on, all the normal use, some fitness tracking. Anyways, that's my opinion between the two watches, the same thing I was pondering in early December.

all down to individual preference but, I have the 360 and love it, there's nothing else on the market so stylish in the flesh. It looks like a good quality watch, in my opinion square screen=computer on your wrist. The area at the bottom of the screen is tiny and no issue at all. Do you really need the fastest CPU? 360 hands down for me.

I like the additional real estate on the Zen. Battery life is also very good on the Zen. 13 hours off the charger, and battery is at 52

Is there really more "real estate" on the Zen? There is a lot of black empty space around the display. I'd like to know how the visible area of the Zen display relates to the visible area of the 360.

Bezzle rim top edge looks very similar for Zen + 360 but............as you say Zen has a lot of black empty space, rough calculation I make visible area only 55%. 360 is right up-to-the edge, the black empty space at bottom is only 6% of total so visible area = 94%, no contest.

I'm not sure if I really believe it, but according to this comparison review, the Moto 360 display is 39 percent bigger than the ZenWatch's: http://www.gizmag.com/moto-360-vs-asus-zenwatch/34908/
