Root Want Nexus software on Galaxy Tab

I have a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and I would really like to get the same software as my N7 tablet
I just don't prefer the feel
any advice or tutorials on how I could do this?
I am tech savvy but have no real experience with messing around with android, would I need a ROM or would this not work at all?

Check out Cyanogen Mod. It's a Operating system that's almost vanilla Android with a few tweaks. With the CyanogenMod installer it's easy for anyone to root your phone and install a custom ROM at the same time. It's really easy, I've tried it on my GS3.
