Any luck yet antiwine? I need my phone rooted as well!
I've been looking into oneclick softwares, but none of them (that i've tried) will root this phone!
Which led me to trying to learn how to manually root with the android SDK.. been so busy with work and school though and can't seem to grasp my head around it. (or find a decent guide)
LMK if you've figured it out! I'm returning this phone if I cannot root! :X

anyways zte has locked bootloaders, there are new ways around it and there hasnt been any recent 4.4 exploits to use so a lot of phones are without root atm mostly zte since they locked the bootloaders.

you are stuck, until there is some new amaizng exploit that rolls out and there isnt going to be one released for this device alone. your best shot is following teh zte max root thread on xda.

Im looking for root on this device too. Nice specs and price. I have a favorable association with ZTE from an earlier device. Could be solid hardware. I still havent decided if no root is a dealbreaker, but.....

If iroot works u can download rashr from market see if a recovery pops up for ur device so u can flash super su

No problem ur probably need to do research on the device before getting it like the zte warp 4g with boost or zte awe with VM zte sequent has developement zte awe runs at 49 bucks at Kmart 14 kitkat ROMs with heavily themed stock ROMs lollipop work very good
