Hello everyone, :blushDroid:

I recently updated my old i9100t to SlimKat and it worked great, the other day I tired to flash the rom to something else and now I'm stuck with the "Firmware upgrade...." boot screen.

I am able to get the phone into "Download Mode" but nothing works.
Odin keeps faling / timing out.

For the past few days I've tried just about everything I could find online but to no use.

PLEASE HELP.... :saddroid:

Hello and welcome to Android Forums ABHgraphics! :)

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your rooted GT-i9100T phone.

Your phone is not, "bricked". That is a term for a phone that will not even turn on and usually indicates a fried motherboard. It seems that you flashed the SlimKat ROM to it and now it will not boot.

I was not aware that there was a SlimKat ROM for the i9100T model but there again, there are so many versions of SlimKat and the, "T", model only differs by its modem.

Try the following, one by one, if you can...

1. Boot into recovery and restore a nandroid backup... providing you made one prior to flashing SlimKat.

2. Wipe cache partition in Recovery mode and reboot

3. Factory Data Reset in Recovery mode. Erases all user data on phone.

4. Download the stock Samsung firmware for your model of phone and CSC code and flash it in Download Mode via the PC Suite, Odin by carefully and thoroughly reading the instructions and links in
#1.7 of the Jelly Bean update - Dummies Guide. This will return you to the stock, unrooted, firmware and you will need to re-root again.

I tried to pit, I tired diff rent Odin,, I can't get another rom on the phone, nor can I boot into recovery... back to square one.

Any other tricks up your sleeve? :saddroid:

I thought you said you had a GT-i9100T phone?

You appear to be trying to restore a stock Samsung GT-i9100 firmware for Poland!!!

Please do not play around flashing .PIT files as they are model and firmware sensitive and can render your phone unusable if you do not use the correct .PIT file.

Try uninstalling Kies and the Samsung drivers from your PC and then re-install Kies, (not Kies3), again, to see if that helps. Use Odin v3.09.
