Hi everybody before I go on I will state I do love Metro's service, plans, and unlimited data. Here's my problem I seem to have tower issues. They're just not listening they opened supposed tickets only to tell me it's my phone's apn. I've tried the f6,the f60, the avant, and the Nokia lumia 635, and all lose Internet to very slow speeds due to traffic I believe. I've called and they seem to be sitting on their ears idk. Stores here are no better they haven't a clue what they're doing it's like taking it to the 3 stooges of phones. Either way sorry for the long winded rant. Has anyone else had a similar experience, or am I the only one. Maybe I'm being silly, but thanks for reading,
Anthony.

We all have that experience one way or another, at times I am one of those stooges, because their is much a rep can do. So is it just you having this problem or your whole area.

Towers take hella time to fix as well and hella cash.
Hi, it's just this tower the tower about a mile away works very well. I've had neighbours, family, and friends complain about same or similar issues. It happens when they come over. I noticed it even more when my cousin gave me her avant to put all the stuff back on her phone. I was in the middle of putting on a ring tone and suddenly there was no Internet. I noticed the down bar wasn't lighting up. Didn't mean to upset you it was just a rant. I even asked to borrow a phone then bought one same issues. Sorry if I upset you. Btw you made me reminisce to the time when I used to live in Sacramento when you said hella I haven't heard that in a while. Thank you, have a good night,
Anthony.

Oh no idea wasn't upset if was agreeing, we reps do look pretty dumb a lot, I work for boost tho but I know we ask share the same issues, from people crying in the store for a hand out, disgruntled customers... Feeling entitled to a handout. To legitimate issues we can't wrap our heads around.

Most of the people in these forums know more about smartphone than the workers at Metro. Unless the problem is with payment, or any problem specific to your account, the workers at the store are going to be clueless.

Have you tried changing your APN to TMobile?

I added it to my Metro phone, but I get faster 4G LTE speeds with the Metro APN than with the TMob APN, but it's something you might give a try.

Also, have you checked the Metro service area map to see what kind of coverage you should be getting at your location?

And as far as CS, try the Metro FB site. I've found that they give the best support although they may take a day or two to respond to your post.

Hi, yes we've tried that. The last time I spoke with them they had me change it from tmobile to metro and back to tmobile. So far it's been the same. Thanks for the help,
Anthony.

My speeds suck at home during the day too because of heavy traffic too. I don't expect it to be fixed since I assume because we are "riding on T-Mobile's nationwide 4G LTE network", I imagine T-mobile users gets top priority over us MetroPCS users. Maybe I'm wrong on that assumption but it sure seems like it.
Hi, I completely agree with you that's what it feels like to me. I thought it was just my imagination, but I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who's had that suspicion. Hopefully they'll fix and upgrade our areas soon . Thank you,
Anthony.
