The file named btfix.zip (a few posts ago) is for Bluetooth. I don't think you need musicpatch.zip now. I didn't install it. I'm using the default launcher.

Experiencing crazy lags and hold ups on the phone. IDK my low phone memory may be the blame I will try cleaning it up and seeing if that helps.

Do you have Google+? I had to remove it because I was experiencing the same thing. Also had an issue with an older version of ChompSMS but an update fixed the problem.

No. I believe its done this before when i had low phone memory(Which is were apps are save by defualt) Although in every rom I have used I can move it onto internal memory but it keeps saying I don't have enough space when i do. Via cleanmaster or Link2SD.

Guess intill I can find a solution I will just delete apps I dont use or find smaller alternatives

ROM works great, but gapps link goes nowhere for me. I'm new here, so I'm not blaming anyone, but I wonder if something may have changed since the upload?

Can I just download a set of Gapps from another rom maker? I see that Slim has a Gapps file that is 56 MB from the Slim roms site. Can I use that instead?
btw thank you to all who are making these roms for us elite owners. It is great to be able to unlock our phone's potential!

Looks like BaNKs' Minimal GApps would be the only one that could work with Kitkat.

Has anyone tried to convert the Elite into a Media Player using this ROM? I put it into airplane mode (don't want to use the cell radio), turned on wireless and uninstalled apps I wasn't going to use. It runs fairly well, but the screen comes on every few minutes. Not sure why this is happening. Any ideas/suggestions?

BTW, the Elite makes a great low budget/power media player. The family uses it mostly for YouTube and TuneIn Radio. Also picked up a charging dock for it for $1 at the Dollar store.

I really love this rom, been using it for a couple months now, and I just now realized that the video function of the camera doesn't work. It's no big deal for me, but I thought phenom might want to know. Pretty much everything else is working fine. Huge thanks to phenom for helping my broke ass stay up to date with my aging phone! In my opinion, it's one of the best phones LG ever made (another half a gig of RAM wouldn't hurt, though

. Edit: I broke something and decided to do a full wipe and reinstall, camera now works fine.

Flash the zip like you would flash the ROM (ROM first, then the btfix.zip) via CWM, etc. You may have to wipe the caches, then reboot.

I have tried applying the BT fix but it doesn't seem to work

I've wiped the device and reapplied the ROM + wipe cache + BT Fix then boot - nothing

Guess the question may be how did you wipe the device? Quite a few nuances in there to get everything. I don't know if it'll affect your issues, but BT works just fine for me, out of the box, with SlimKat.

I wipe it using the Advanced Wipe in TWRP. I select the system/data/cache options and hit wipe.

Not sure if there is much else I can do but I will look at SlimKat. I just want to use this phone as a media player

Did you try a clean install (format data, etc)? Then wipe Dalvik, etc. Then install the fix, and wipe Dalvik, etc again. Reboot.
