Whew! I'm glad there aren't many jokes about brunettes! :D:D:D

What do you call a brunette in a room full of blondes?
Invisible.

Why did the brunette cross the road?
No one knows. They were watching the blonde.

How does a brunette turn on the light after sex?
She opens the car door.

What do brunettes miss most about a great party?
The invitation.

Hi :) It's 9.40. Waiting for our plane Amsterdam > Oslo.

Whatcha doing?

Poking around the insides of a 35 year old monochrome TV set that doesn't work, completely dead.
Found some info for it on the interwebs....

A "Shanghai J135—2BU" FWIW

My first major employment early '80s was TV repair. So old habits die hard. :D

How long are you in Oslo for?

Have a wonderful time Kaat. Wish I was there. I never been to Norway.

The CRT in this ancient TV is Philips, everything else is yuck! Mains transformer is shot though, so that's the end of that activity. Could flog it to a boutique, they could use it as an "ornament". they seem to like doing things like that, old and broken things with trendy clothes.

Won't be seeing this place for a week. Have a bit of a trip myself on Sumday, holiday school in a village for six days, primary level, 300km drive.

I think that's the worst excuse... No offense Gmash, but it really irritates me when someone tells offensive jokes about a specific group and then excuses their behavior by saying "I'm part of that group so it's okay for me to say it."

It's one thing to make fun at your own expense, it's another to perpetuate offensive stereotypes.

I'm Lithuanian. If you've heard jokes comparing Lit's to Polish people you understand that stereotype is that Lit's are stupid Pol's. As such, I find jokes about both ethnicities hilarious. I'm also married to a Pol / Dutch and we poke fun at each other. So long as the stereotypes and jokes aren't taken too seriously it's OK. Some smart feller once said if you can't laugh at yourself, who can yo laugh at.;)

And here I have "road trips" in my dating profile, as something I like to do. [emoji6] Although if you guys are doing it for work, that doesn't sound like fun.
I am traveling for work, but my tour is scheduled in a way that i have at least one day free in each location to explore. ( I love when it works out that way. :) )

Unforgiven - Exactly! I'm also part Polish so I grew up hearing tons of Polack jokes, no biggie to me. Now, if someone were to walk up to me & say "you're stupid" to my face, I might be offended, but I'm not at all offended by silly jokes like this. Life is way too short to get my undies in a bunch so easily.

Oh wait... are we allowed to say "undies"?:D
