Root [Boost Mobile] ROM's confirmed working for SPH-L710T

hey all been away for awhile glad to see some development has been done regarding the SPH-L710T.... just flashed wicked s5 and it works awesome ..... i have an issue though i cant seem toget the "sync apps with facebook" to add under the "accounts" tab... get error "log in failed.try again later" anyone else have this issue???
also my video calling option wont work...get error message "video calls not supported" anyone have any idea???

and also i would like to know .... on the stock NF4 when i select settings>>more networks>>tethering>> my usb tether option is gone only bt tether is there... but with this wicked s5 rom the option is there and works.... so i was wondering how can i add that to my stock rom... where is the file that tells that usb tether option to be there??? is it telephony.db or is it in the build.prop??? can some one help me.... i would like to have just the stock NF4 rom rooted with the usb tether option back.... NOT "wifi hotspot" as my desktop doesnt have a wifi card

Anyone know if theres an updated kernel for TW roms newer than the 5.13.2014 one? I could've sworn there was but everytime I search my files on my phone or look on here I cant seem to find it. 5.13.2014 seems pretty dated lol. Im also confused why the Wicked S5 rom doesent have the ability to update profile and prl. That is one of the main things that keep me on TW.

I don't know and can't answer about the kernel. As for the s5 ROM he probably didn't put that in there. All I do is back up where I am and then I go to another TouchWiz ROM that has that option reset and update your PRL and then reload your backup you're good to go.

if u want to update ur prl/data settings touch the setting button the select the option on the left it will bring up the regular menu and u can navigate and update ur prl

if it automatically goes to lolipop when u select menu then go to the bottom select applications>>>then application manager then slide the screen to the left untill it says all at the top then scroll till you see settings...select it then select clear defaults and then close outthe settings menu and reopen and then it wwill give you the option wether to select kitkat settings menu or lollipop settings....just chose the one on the left

I've seen a few people ask in the main thread for this device model which ROM's are confirmed working. As a work in progress I'd like to list them here, as well as any special flashing instructions for this model. I'll update this list as we grow, and begin to provide links to each ROM and any special instructions. Any and all help will be appreciated in gathering the links and instructions. If you have confirmed a working ROM and setup please list so I can test.

As always, please be sure to thank or donate to the ROM developers for each of these in their respective threads. Devs work for free in their own free time to bring us these goodies for the pure and simple joy of creating.

NOTE: ROM FLASHING IS DANGEROUS AND COULD POTENTIALLY BRICK YOUR DEVICE IF DONE INCORRECTLY. I ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR DEVICE IN POSTING THESE WORKING ROMS.

To date I have confirmed working the following ROM's:

Touchwiz ROM's

Wicked S5 Xperience
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2983340

Wicked X 8.0 Barebones
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2750674

Tribute ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2768483

Conquest Singularity

To install the Touchwiz ROM's listed above follow these custom ROM flashing instructions courtesy of 6th_Hockage.

Almost any custom ND8 TW Rom will install with the Updated Kernel on the SPH-L710T...but if you have been rom hopping like yours truly you will have to:

1. Odin the Stock NF4
2. Odin PhilZ latest recovery
3. Boot into said recovery
4. Choose wipe to install new rom
5. Flash an ND8 based TW Rom
6. Flash updated Kernel
7. Flash Boost or Virgin APN Fix (if on Sprint skip this)
8. Reboot and profit

Updated Kernel For TW only

What's up Carter I followed your instructions and it went beautiful. Haven't had a stiffy in a while but this rom gave me a hard on. Just installed it on my Samsung Galaxy S3 SPH-L710. Before doing it I had liquidsmooth-rom-v3-2 4.4.4. I used rom manager and booted into recovery. I did nothing with the ND8 Bootloader at all. I did the following after copy the downloads below to my External Sd card.
1. Did wipe data factory reset once.
2. Wipe the cache
3. Wiped the dalvik cache Twice.
4. Went to install zip from my external SDcard1
1st was Wicked-x-v8.0
2nd was the updated kernel KT747-TW-KK-4.4-ATT-05-13-2014
3rd was Touch Wiz Themes from a quy named High On Android. Many thanks to him.
4th and last was Universal_Boost_APN_Fix-R2.
5th Rebooted and waited about 5 mins and it was a done deal.

I haven't everything yet other than the phone, wifi, text messaging, but I will get around to it. I didn't think it was possible to out do Liquidsmooth ROM and I'm not taking away from them, there fantastic too. But this wicked x rom has all the bells and whitles I'm looking for. I'm speachless. I'm new at installing this stuff and to the fourm, but nothing but props to all those who had anything to do with putting this rom together. This stuff isn't easy and takes alot of patience, research, I know because I screwed up a couple of times or 4 or 5 trying to figure out about rom etc. Once again you guys are the best, without question.

Do you have the "T" model? If not you didn't need an updated kernel. I only ask because you said sph-L710 but no "t" at the end.
And philz touch recovery is far superior to clockworkmod. One button "clean to install new ROM" is one of the better features.

Well I tried it and everything worked but data. I think I am going to start testing for them so hopefully there will be a fix. Some are saying that its working though.
Data has worked for me when i added a certain apn(as stated before). I have sprint as well. I have been on liquidsmooth 4.4.4 for a while now and havent had any problem for the past few months especially now with that kernel rotation fix. Have not tried adding the apn to a lollipop rom but you could give it a go if you have not already. Make sure after you add an apn you let it sit/reboot.
