Why in the heck doesn't this exist?! I know this has been asked many many times before, but I just had to ask.

Heck, I'd fork k-9 and add this feature myself if I knew any programming beyond BASIC and Pascal!

Also I noticed that there are a lot of OWA (outlook web access) clients for Android, and I was wondering, certainly they would use the HTML signature that's saved inside of this Exchange account. But no, they don't. So apparently there are a lot of companies that aren't allowing Exchange access from outside the firewall but do allow OWA access, for security reasons.

There's several email clients that will do HTML composing including signatures. MailDroid, Type Mail and others. My favorite is AquaMail. I use it to send business mail with a company logo in the signature. The image can be stored on the phone or remotely. I use an image hosted on Google Drive.

So, How do I simply create an html signature in Aquamail.

I want it to look like this:

Leonard Grossman
Enjoy my pics on Instagram

Where "Instagram" is a link to my Instagram account

so the html would be
Leonard Grossman<br>
Enjoy my pics on <a href="https://instagram.com/modemjunkie/"> Instagram </a>

No need to write the HTML code, but you can if you like.

This outlines how to setup a custom signature including a logo image file in AquaMail. Hyperlinks can also be embedded in images or text. Using AquaMail it's really much like doing it on a computer. Follow these steps:

1. Have the logo file copied to your phone or alternatively, publicly hosted as described below.

2. Open AquaMail and long-press on the account title bar.

3. Select Special settings > Options and folders > Composing and sending > Signature.

4. A box will open. Select Switch to rich text at the top.

5. Scroll the toolbar all the way to the right and tap on the little photo icon.

6. A box opens to navigate to the location of the logo file. Find and select it. Or if the logo is on a public server add the location.

7. Add your signature text and save the signature.

8. Select the option to Add signature automatically in outgoing email.

Remember, the logo file must stay on the phone and in the same location for this to work. Or, make the image file available on a publicly accessible host - your website for example or cloud storage such as Dropbox or Google Drive. Instructions on how to host a file on Google Drive can be found here:
