Help Would a screen protector affect sketching capability?

Hello guys. I'm planning on getting a Note 3 Neo which as far as I know has the same pressure levels as the Note 3 (1024 pressure levels).

I'm going to use it for sketching. Is using a screen protector necessary? And if I do use one, would it affect my sketching capability such as screwing up with the pressure sensitivity when I sketch?

I have used a screen protector since day one, the Spigen SGP brand, but others say the gorilla glass should be fine on its own. Sketching is fine on my note 3 with the protector on.

Alright then, I think I'll go get a screen protector once I bought it. My current phone has Gorilla Glass 3 but it does get some scratches (albeit tiny). It doesn't disturb the pressure sensitivity at all?

I have no issues at all with it, but saying that, I never tried it with the screen protector off lol.
Maybe buy a cheap screen protector and see if it works ok for you before getting a good quality one.
