Swiftkey Fans: Have you tried Clarity?

I've seen some rumblings around the Internets today about the new Clarity keyboard from Swiftkey: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.swiftkey.clarity.keyboard

It sounds like it tries to one-up some of the correction/prediction capabilities of the original Swiftkey:
FEATURES
* Multi-word autocorrect - checks the last few words you’ve typed and retrospectively corrects them.
* No more ‘damn-you-autocorrect’ - quickly undo any autocorrections and restore exactly what you typed by tapping backspace.
* Always learning - automatically learns your slang, nicknames and phrases.

Do note that Swiftkey stresses the experimental nature of Clarity; it is likely being used to test some features and changes that may eventually find their way into the mainline Swiftkey keyboard - or be scrapped entirely.

Still, I'm definitely going to try it out. How about you?

Yeah tried it earlier mate and the prediction is excellent but it's very much in beta (no settings, no emoji, no punctuation slider..) so I can't really use it seriously

Ditto. I imagine the lack of a punctuation slider will annoy me a little. I like trying new keyboards though.

Cool. I actually didn't try that mate :thumbsupdroid: the long press time is actually pretty instant though and my muscle memory is used to it lol.
I'm also not sure how I feel about having no suggestion bar.
Think it will take me some time to just put my trust in the predictions and I tend to tap on the suggestion bar after typing the 1st few letters of a long word.
Also I missed the number bar even though I don't use it much, it's nice to have there.
Love the theme on Clarity though

Oh yeah. I'm retrying it and sliding the symbol button works well.
I've just noticed another problem though... No haptic feedback

I turn haptic feedback off anyway so that's not a huge problem for me.

I could probably get used to this actually.

Themes would be nice, but I accept that it's just a beta at the moment.

I snuck out for a quick BK run (I needed a Coke Icee!) and played with Clarity a bit. It's got some cool ideas - I definitely see why it's a separate app rather than features built in to the existing Swiftkey. I'll try to stick with it as my primary keyboard for a week or so and see how it goes.

Just noticed this post mate sorry.
I'm a big fan of haptic tbh. My thumbs feel blind or numb without it (or something lol)
