Help does factory resetting a device increases it's speed???

There's usually no particular reason for a device to get slower other than apps not behaving quite as they should. A reset will clear everything out and restore that as-new speed, but if you reinstall the very apps causing the lag, then of course the lag will be back.

Instead of resetting, a better fix is to find and cure the actual problem. You save the time and effort you would spend resetting, reloading and reconfiguring the phone and the problem stays fixed.

To sort out what's slowing your phone, check out this post:

If you're going to root, you're going to lose your apps and data unless you have a backup.

Check out Helium Backup from the Play Store.

If your slow down is due to stale cache entries for the operating system, go ahead and factory data reset, and restore your Helium Backup, see what happens.

It's good practice with Helium that you'll need post root (after that you'll switch to a more capable root backup like Titanium Backup) and will let you know before rooting if you have a bad app or combination of apps causing the problem. Once you narrow that down, repeat without the bad app(s).
