~New hero & prize reveal~
Van Helsing

"The hunter that dances with the devil. Vanquishing foul evils of the night with an arsenal of holy weapons and clever contraptions is his Raison d'être. Under the moonlight, he purifies the world one demon spawn at a time till the sun's rays pierce down from the heavens once more. He then becomes just like any other man, in search of good drink and rest to drown his cursed soul's unfortunate past."

The prizes for the Hot-dog eating contest is as follows:
Everyone that participated will each receive 10 thousand in-game Gold.
The people that got it right will receive the new hero, Van Helsing!

Representing new heroes for our next coming patch 3.0:

Heaven:
Dryad
Ability - Gift of life; Dryad turns into an oak tree upon death, healing allies in an area around it.
Van helsing
Ability - Mana rising; Helsing summons a mana battery which will improve the player's mana regeneration until it is destroyed.

Hell:
Frost wolf
Ability - Frost breath; Frostwolf stands by the player's throne, slowing down any enemy that crosses into its range with its freezing breath.
Gargoyle
Ability - Strength of stonehenge; Gargoyle summons a massive wall from the ground the moment it encounters an enemy, blocking multiple lanes unless it is destroyed.

- Niu Tou (Ox-head) is one of the 2 fearsome guardians of the Underworld

There are always similar heroes from this faction to another that have pretty similar traits. Knowing that can help us giving out the best choice and the right hero for each match. Here is the specific list of the similar heroes from Heaven to Hell:

Heaven - Hell :
Big Foot - Imp : crushes or damages the enemy in instant moment.
Fortune God - Misfortune God : delivers coin shots from very far away.
Cupid - Wraith : causes enemy to turn against it's own allies.
Prime Gob - Onyx Gob: both replenishes 80 Mana.
Valkyrie - Medusa : stops and stones the enemy in it's track.

Zeus - Hades : both gives the first of 2000 damage and the 2nd of 600 damage.

Samurai - Shinobi : creates damage with their katana and dagger.

"These stone-grey beasts are the offensive guardians of the Hellish legion, armed with indestructible twin shields on its forearms. When put together they form a towering wall that can withstand the mightiest of blows and the most powerful of magics. As Gargoyles grow, their skin hardens into granite. They also lose their wings during the maturing process."

NEW HERO ON FEATURE

The little cute girl Dryad has turned into a beautiful sexy woman with more power and more mature look:

Sworn to protect the ancient forests under the guidance of their master, Forest Lord Rikoomba, these battle maidens are not to be trifled with. Armed with a spear made from the living woods, they charge into the front lines fearlessly. Their speed and skill are second only to their connection with nature, wielding the power to call upon Woodlings to fight by their side.
Ability: Nature's aid

Summons 2 Woodling minions to attack. They are additional units that have their own health.

*** Patch 3.0 major changes are coming ***

- Whenever reaching certain Champion levels, players will receive heroes. No more complex unlock requirement.
- The higher levels are, the more experience is needed. Play the game to earn experience to reach goal.
- Gold earned will be used as currency to play in PVP rooms.
- PVP rooms will be the next and only source of experience to level your champion further.
- Players still have Crystal buying option to buy the heroes they like.

Patch 3.0 will hit soon. Please wait for our official release date! Thanks guys!

* Heaven and Hell Factions: You can choose your side between Heaven and Hell to begin a match, by clicking the logo on top left corner of your main screen. Each faction has its own levels (up to 25 levels for now) so feel free to switch to play more.

* Shop: Not satisfied with the portraits, heroes, or golds/crystals you earned? You can shop for more of them in this section.

* Mail: shows your messages from other users. Mails will be removed after 10 days.

* Shrine of heroes: shows all the heroes you own in total of heroes of EndGods, both in Heaven and Hell factions. You can view heroes' info here.

* World Gate: Click here to play all the levels in both Heaven and Hell. League of Gods will start from August 1st. Stay tune cause it's gonna be awesome!

* Friend PVP: Click here to begin a match with your friends. You can invite any online friends (green button shows that they are online) for a match. We have 3 sections here: Duelist's Pride, The Wicked Grove and Inferno Road. Leader Board shows user with high ranks.

* World PVP: to play with other users around the world. Four sections with different stages to play: Ring of Challengers, The Dunes, Ancient Jungle, Realm of Fortune. Ring of Challengers is FREE while the others cost with different prices. Leader Board shows user with high ranks.

- A quick guide to Combos -

Hey everyone, today we’re going to talk about combos!
What are combos? They’re special abilities in this game that allow the combination of two heroes into a completely awesome and unique power! There are currently 5 combos for Heaven and Hell each. Let’s briefly list down the heroes that can be combo’d!

Heaven:
Pixie & Estelle
Momotaro & Tengu
Redboy & Helsing
Perseus & Pegasus
Fuujin & Raijin

Hell:
Zombie & Jiangshi
Dracula & Werewolf
Mamian & Niutou
Gargoyle & Revenant
Frostwolf & Hellhound

Combos do not require mana but require cool-down time for the used heroes, so you can't summon them till they’re available again. Be careful or you might not have enough heroes on the field!
Combos are most effective when used at the right time. The opponent will not know when you’re going to use one; they can only react to it or expect it. Combos have cool-downs as well, remember that you cannot use them again for awhile so it has to count!

The safest way to play combos is only when you are in deep trouble. Forces obliterated? All four lanes of enemies hammering away at your throne? Use your combo! No, better yet use it before you get overwhelmed! That could really save you. Of course, not all combos deal damage!
While Fuujin and Raijin’s combo works better in an emergency situation, please don’t summon Pixie & Estelle’s combo when all your heroes have been wiped clean.

Another reason to use combos is to capitalize on an existing offensive. Think you’re winning? Well seal your enemy’s fate with a well timed combo! Losing an advantage could very well lead to your own demise because comebacks are real in this game! They say the best defense is a good offense and I agree with this. If you’re already pushing them back, do not loosen up! Squash their attempts at coming back with a combo!

* Account Info: When you click on your account avatar, all info of your account will show up. How many levels you have reached in Heaven and Hell, number of PVP matches you have joined, number of winning and losing matches so far... You can also change password, email, sound and visual effects, your own avatar or player name, etc.

* Facebook connection: From now on you can connect to EndGods through your Facebook account. By clicking on the list of your friend list, you will find Facebook connection button there. Playing EndGods has now become more easier!

* Information: Did you see the Question Mark button next to your account avatar? It's the answers storage for all of your questions about EndGods. Any needed information about the game, from how to summon heroes to when you can use your combo, what gold does,... is all there. No more confused right?!

* Leader Board: Leader Board shows the name of people with highest ranks in certain sections. There are 3 leader boards in 3 sections: Friend PVP, World PVP and Crystals/Golds Exchange.

A QUICK GUIDE TO HEROES

Heroes are the essential lifeblood of the game EndGods. Without them, there would be no game! But you can only choose a maximum of 8 heroes at a time and of course, everyone wants to bring the most powerful/useful heroes. Here are some things to consider before choosing your lineup of 8!

1. Hero type
The type of hero is very important. A hero can be melee or ranged so it's better to have some of both. Ranged heroes can do damage without getting destroyed if your melees are right in front to soak the hits!

2. Damage
You have your straight up high damage type heroes where they are meant to pulverize anything and everything! They are used to get rid of heroes quickly. Example: Hercules, Cyclops, Bigfoot, Thor, Chimera, Leviathan.

3. Support
Some heroes offer support for other heroes, one of the most direct ways is to keep them alive by healing. Heaven's heroes have the best healing capabilities, such as Pixie, Estelle and Dryad. Some heroes provide buffs to heroes or to the player. Increasing mana regeneration for the player or doubling the damage of its allies. Can you guess who they are?

4. Utility/Crowd Control
This is where many heroes shine. Some heroes are designed to influence how enemy heroes behave on the battlefield. They have the ability to eat, destroy, stun, reduce speed or slow down enemy heroes. They can also make them to become possessed and start attacking a fellow hero, or being stopped from their actions for a short period of time. Ex: Dracula can slowly take a player's Mana away. Some are even able to create units or walls to take hits from the enemy.

5. AoE & DoT capable heroes
These are heroes that can deal “Area of Effect” damage and “Damage over Time”, or both. Area of Effect means that their damage affects multiple heroes at the same time within a certain area. This is especially good to strike all melees at once when they clump up in the front. Ex: Hercules, Thor, Goblin, Imp, Chimera.

Damage over Time means dealing a considerable amount of damage over a period of time, these usually are poisons, magical effects or fire damage. The damage of each time is small but if it lasts long enough, can chip away at heroes with good amounts of health. It's always useful to bring one or two of these heroes. Ex: Zombie, Revenant, Leviathan, Sha Wu jing.

Some heroes have the both combination. The powerful heroes, which you have to kill ASAP, are the ones that have high damage and high AoE & DoT. So don't leave your forces alone, anticipate when the opponent will use it and send something that can take care of it quickly. Ex: Thor, Hercules, Chimera, Goblin 2.

League of Gods (LoG), a highly skill based game-play mode of EndGods, is open for players to compete in the fairest manner possible, has officially started on August 1st, 2015. Available everyday from 8:00-10:00 PM (GMT+8).

Join other worldwide users, for unlimited battles in limited time daily, to win the throne and be one of the best players in EndGods by being ranked highly in LoG Leader Board. TOP 50 ranked players will be able to attend the first major EndGods Tournament this coming November with attractive prizes up to SGD 10,000. In addition, limited edition hero skin will be given to TOP 50 finalists.

World PVP Update

There are recently lots of chaos in the world of EndGods. World PVP currently has 4 rooms for players to start a battle with each other. Below are some updates of them:

Ring of Challengers: FREE cost, no ranking in World Leader Board. Maximum level to join: 30. Opening time: 10AM - 2AM (GMT+8). Winner rewards: 250 golds, 200 EXP.

The Dunes: Costs 1000 golds per match, ranked in World Leader Board. Opening time: 10AM - 2AM (GMT+8). Winner rewards: 1500 golds, 2 crystals, 400 EXP.

Ancient Jungle: Costs 1000 golds per match, no ranking in World Leader Board. Opening time: 10AM - 2AM (GMT+8). Winner rewards: 1500 golds, 2 crystals, 400 EXP.

Realm of Fortune: Costs 5 crystals per match, ranked in World Leader Board. Opening time: 10AM - 2AM (GMT+8). Winner rewards: 9 crystals, 1000 EXP.

LoG UPDATE

Dear Mortals, the League of Gods (LoG) is now open daily from 10AM - 1PM and 8PM - 11PM (GMT+8), begins from Aug 19, 2015. More additional time to gain more excitement for players.

Thank you all for supporting LoG! It is the ultimate proving grounds for all eager challengers. Don't forget that the TOP 50 players will receive invites to Singapore to battle it out for big prize money this November!!!

Below is a screenshot of LoG Leader Board. Did you notice there is already a slight change on it? Some players have passed over some to be on TOP. Are you one of them? The League has only just begun, so stay tuned and happy PVP-ing!

QUICK GUIDE TO LANING

Laning is one of the more underrated factors that players tend to overlook. Each battlefield in has its own different lanes, which requires different strategy to rule them. How to benefit from a good laning? Here are some guide for you to notice:
- Speedy heroes can gain ground but not for long.
- Recommended speedy heroes for unguarded lane: Shinobi, Tengu, Jiangshi.
- Recommended relatively lower heroes to gain ground: Perseus, Hercules, Gargoyle, Troll.
- If you spread heroes too evenly on many lanes, you could lose them all. So try to have a focus lane to reinforce.
- Switch focus from lane to lane to keep the enemy confused. But be careful if the enemy turn the tide by defeating your heroes quicker than you can summon.
