I have a rooted DOOGGE VOYAGER 2 DG310 android phone. I heard that some apps like ROM installer... leave a file on your phone if you transfer them to sd card, well i had Rom installer and i didn't move it, i was just upgrading my android to newer version.
My theory is that my phone didnt have enough space to upgrade my android so it transfered my apps to my sd card and with them my ROM installer.
Anyway, when my phone did the upgrading it powered on, then i was stuck on this android is upgrading thing... Can someone backup their Doogee and send the backup to me so i can install it please?

(sry for my english)

Did you download and run the Doogee flash tool on your computer? I don't have one of these Chinese devices, so I'm only guessing it needs to have that installed and running, to flash the ROM. You might have to put the device in a certain startup mode before you connect it to the computer, like fastboot. The flash tool may tell you what you need to do, but on the other hand it might not tell you anything useful or it's only in Chinese.

Unfortunately it's a rather obscure brand and device, so there's not much good information other than what Doogee might provide.

Tried everything from fastboot to recovery, even on other computers non of that seem to work.
I think you didn't undetstand me: my phone cannot be recoginzed where ever you plug it in because my current rom cannot fully load (i dont have acces to my files, only i can see them while in recovery -- apply from sd card).
And yes i have smart phone flash tool v5.
Do you think i could connect my phone to computer some other way?( i forgot to mention that one time it got to OPTIMIZING APP 3 of 124 then my battery died)
tnx for help

You shouldn't need your phone to completely boot for it to be recognized. You will, however, need the drivers. I would assume they are part of the flash tool package. If you are on a Mac or Linux, you won't need discrete drivers. In any case, your phone won't mount and give you access to it's internal storage like it does when fully booted. Perhaps you have a defective USB cable. We see a lot of problems with cheap cables working some of the time, but failing when it's critical. For argument's sake (and I'm assuming your PC is running some version of windows) Put your phone into fastboot mode and plug it into your PC. Then open device manager on your PC and you should either see it listed as an Android Phone or an unrecognized device with a yellow triangle next to it (which means you need drivers). If you don't even get that, then there is definitely a problem with your cable or USB port on the phone.

If you can get it into fastboot mode, then you should be able to reflash the factory firmware, but you'll lose all your user data and files.

Now, you said it got to optimizing app 3 of 124 ... that means it's recompiling your apps and that can take a long time. perhaps as much a half hour, if you have a lot of apps or a slow processor. If it still is hanging on the optimizing screen, try plugging it in, letting it charge fully and then booting it up while still plugged in and let it sit for an hour or so, just to give it time to try and fully boot. If it moves past 3 of 124, then it's just taking its time. You might have to leave it like that overnight. Let us know how you make out.

When Android does upgrade though (and it does take some time) even in the usual 10-15 minutes I guess it usually takes for me to optimise apps it can get very hot. I probably wouldn't suggest leaving it try over night for risk of cooking it, but certainly try it for an hour or so and see if it does shift...or maybe that's just me and my paranoia. Also if you can get into recovery may be worth a shot clearing the cache and dalvik if its a bad app holding it up and let it try recompiling the cache again, long shot but maybe

Most, if not all, phones have a thermal circuit that will shut the phone off if it reaches a critical temperature. That's not a good thing because it shouldn't ever get that hot, but it's there to protect the phone's circuitry and keep the fire brigade (and the lawyers) from showing up.

If the phone does get hot while optimizing, then i'd recommend placing it up on a couple of pencils, or something that will allow air to flow all around and then put a fan on it.

Also if you can get into recovery may be worth a shot clearing the cache and dalvik if its a bad app holding it up and let it try recompiling the cache again, long shot but maybe

Without a custom recovery, the only way to clear the Dalvik cache is to factory reset, which also might not be a bad idea at this point.

Hi, thanks for the tip!
I have a linux laptop and i tried it with many cables (doesnt work).
Allso i think my cables do work because that time that the cable was plugged in my phone and my ubuntu it was charging. I tried booting to fast mode but it allways freezes that time. I just need an acces to my files. (maybe android is upgrading is blocking it because it doesnt give accses to anything cuz it's optimizing)
(i factory reseted the phone, cleared chache partition... nothing works)

Allso i got some new information: when i factory reset my phone on chinese or normal recovery mode nothing normal happens, but when i power the phone it doesnt show *android is upgrading* but normal startup animation*( and it doesn't finishes).

And when you said i could leave it for a long time, well i did that allready and i left it the whole night optimizing apps (non were optimized).
And i think you got me wrong, when you said i had *OPTIMIZING APP 3 OF 124*: that happened just one time, i tried it like 28 times.
(i'm woried that i didn'r allready ruin my battery because i took it out thousand times because i cant power it off normally when *android is upgrading...*
Forgot to mention: i didnt have 124 apps. I dont have that much of a space.
And i allso forgot to mention: when i was upgrading my phone it said "UPGRADE FAILED" or something like that so i think that's the problem".
Tnx for the helping me :)

I'm not sure what you mean by "Chinese or normal recovery mode". Are their language options for recovery on your device? Or do you have a choice of roms/OS to recover?

At this point if you cannot get a copy of the original firmware from the manufacturer, it might be time to contact them for some sort of repair option.

By *chinese* or *normal* recovery i mean: when i hold the power button and volume up, normal recovery starts.
But if i hold power button and volume down it opens chinese recovery like that: https://www.google.si/search?q=chin...myswHi6YKAAQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=899

Ok i'l contact them.
tnx for helping

Sorry, I'm running out of ideas. This is one of those things where the manufacturer has a specific method for reset/recovery and unfortunately, they are either not forthcoming, or not very helpful in explaining, and nobody here has any direct experience with that particular device.

It would be best, in my opinion, if you were able to get the factory firmware and reflash the phone back to square one. If that's not working, either because the manufacturer isn't making it available, or the posted method isn't working, then I'm afraid we're not going to be of much help. Sending it back for service or replacing it seem to be your most practical options at this point.

Sorry. :(

Hi, guys!
I took the phone to the repariment, and the guy said: >>You screwed up, you probably got out of area where you can connect to your routar while upgrading your phone. You need to go to wifi that your phone rememberd so it cant connect to internet and finish the upgrading.<<
First of all, i was eating lucnch when my phone was upgrading then i came back and saw BLANK.zip failed to download...
I tried what the guy said but i can't connect to it. I think i can't connect to it because i saw on other forums you can connect to computer while in recovery. But i can't even do that! So i think i dont have premision to my phone till it upgrades :/! And because i don't have premission to my phone i can't connect to my routar with wifi...

BUTT!
My question is how did i connect to it one time when it got to 3 :/?

Tnx for help guys, i'm gonna throw this phone into trash :) (How to close the forum, that's my first)

The phone doesn't connect to WiFi in recovery so being near an access point that your phone has stored will do you no good. And stock recovery usually doesn't permit USB connections to push files to it.

If the repair shop is correct, what happened was a corrupt updater, but your phone attempted to apply it anyway. These things are supposed to verify checksums, but 'stuff' happens.

My question is why didn't the repair shop offer to flash the factory firmware and get you back to square one? The only reason I can think of (other than they don't know how, which doesn't make them much of a repair shop) is that the manufacturer hasn't made that available. You may have to send it back to them to fix it.

Well, when i got there he said that they'll finish reparing my phone in 30 minutes (SO LONG?)
When i got back he said no luck and that's it. :/

And why would they take so long to UPDATE my firmware? ಠ_ಠ
I still want to now how to close the forum? BEST ANSWERED your answer because you helped me alot :)

Tnx for help

30 minutes is very reasonable. Think about what they have to do ... First they have to identify the correct factory firmware and download that which can easily be over 1 GB. Add to that any necessary utility to flash the device and the proper drivers to communicate with it. They then must put the phone into some form of maintenance or recovery mode which may require unlocking. Since every phone manufacturer does this differently, and sometime even similar models vary significantly, I doubt they know off the top of their heads. Once all the research and downloading is done they then have to actually restore the phone and then verify that it worked. First boots on many devices can take upwards of 15 minutes.

Unless it's a device the shop had a lot of experience, I'd say 30 minutes was optimistic on their part. I would have told you at least an hour.
