Hi,
I work on a DIY cheap home automation and security alarm system. I'd like to use my old Android phone (instead of buying a gsm module) to call a certain number when the alarm system activates. Both the phone and the sensors gateway (Raspberry Pi) are connected through WiFi to the same subnet.
A lot of home automation framework support IP addressing control i.e 192.168.1.8/ 0 | 1 to switch on | off relay boards. So, it would be great to have an android app that automatically start a phone call when 1 is set.
I googled a lot in the past days but I found nothing. Does anybody known if exits an app to do this stuff?
Otherwise can you suggest me some useful pice of code to start with?
Thanks!
