Hi everyone
The other day I noticed that Facebook and Facebook Messenger could be moved to the SD card, and I was pleased that this would free up room on my small 4GB internal storage that's left on this Motorola Moto G 4g phone. When I went to power off my phone to save battery and power it back on all of the shortcuts on the homescreen disappeared and was presented with just black circles where apps were grouped.
On Android KK the predecessor to Lollipop I'm currently using, I was able to replicate this same homescreen shortcut disappearence by safely un-mounting the SD whilst the phone is on and re-mount, where I would expect the phone to work from where I last left it and for the shortcuts to renunciate.
However, in Lollipop (the OS that I thought would fix all the problems with this phone on KK) has problems on one of the simplest tasks of keeping shortcuts to apps installed on a SD card.
Could someone please shed some light on this
Many thanks
Will
