Help Compatible phone? Note 5

Hello,
I was shopping around for a Note 5 when it occurred to me that I should probably check if it was compatible first. I don't know the frequencies that metro accepts so if someone could please help with that?

The frequencies the phone has are

GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900

Welcome to the site!

Your post didn't list the 3G and 4G bands, but the T-Mobile and AT&T versions do have the correct bands for MetroPCS.

MetroPCS 3G bands:
1700/2100MHz or 1900MHZ.

4G:
Band 2 = 1900MHz
Band 4 = 1700/2100MHz
Band 12 = 700MHz

If they don't know what bands it has ask them what carrier it's from.

Metro uses T-Mobile so if that's correct you'd only have 2G. Is it listed as a "world" or "international" phone? Those often don't have the correct bands for high speed data in the US.

Get the exact model number,then,use this:

As this phone is relatively new (less than two weeks old),I'd be leery of e-Bayer's & the like.
If the price is below normal MSRP,something's up.

Looks like it has every Metro band except the 3G 1700/2100MHz band.

If you're gonna use it on Metro PCS,might as well get the T-Mobile version,it's less expensive & a better match:

Metro & T-Mobile are on the same network,so,the band match may be under-represented.

Seems like a great alternative, would I have to unlock it for use on metro? (One would think no because they ride the same network) and i cant seem to order one without it forcing a plan on me.
