New Phones coming to Boost...

Boost must account for a great amount of revenue for Sprint -

So I wonder why so stingy on the "allowed" phone list for byod
A big ass flagship phablet like the nexus 6 would be kinda cool to try :)

These ZTE's just don't cut it, or the crippled Stylo. My gf has a Stylo on Metro, just because of the 1/8 configuration they did to boost. If the Boost model was the same 2/16, she would be on Boost.

The Cricket Stylo went 1.5/8 split the difference.

We need a guinea pig to buy it and report back. There are a couple youtube videos already but they're not very good.
Well, some of y'all will be glad to know a friend of mine is ordering the zte warp elite tonight, she said she'll overnight to get it on the 4th. I'll keep y'all updated on how she likes the phone. Hope this helps.

I have been using the warp elite about a week and I'm loving it for sure, its got great specs and build quality for the price, only issue iv seen with it so far is that the battery doesn't come out. Other than that, no freezes or crashes or slow processing. I constantly have over a gig of ram so everything runs smoothly, it was worth the money for sure!

P.s. I hope they have cases for yours there cause this thing definitely needs a case with the way the screen sticks up off the body.lol

I had the same debate to be honest, but with the history of the warp and its quality being relatively decent, and the original max being a flop, I ended up taking the better camera option, I will say this, there is hardly a difference in screen size, and the max is a low budget flag ship they are hoping will sell only for the screen size. The specs are nearly the same but I switched from the max to the elite and its much faster in terms of processing, day one with the max I was getting tons of force closes and its packed with extra boost Mobile bloat, my only issue with this phone is the battery doesn't come out, I didn't even keep the max long enough to find out if it did as well, I had it a day and traded it towed the elite. But with whichever you choose I hope you end up happy with your investment! They are veryyy big phones so be ready for a handful, that is in fact what he said.lol

Thanks...I'm so torn between the 2...I really wanted the biggest screen within my budget....The camera wasnt that important to my Apparently phones being similar in specs and as long as max+ does have an sd card slot was leaning towards it. I had the zte warp phone originally with boost and found many problems with it. Switched to lg volt which after abt 1 1/2 yrs is starting to have some lag issues and needs to be restarted at times to clear it up.
I know Boost service not the best and phones are "dumbed down" but cant beat monthly bill

I have to agree go with the elite. My friend is getting hers tomorrow afternoon if you'd like I'll post back initial thoughts about it. Might help you decide for sure.

Not yet,
http://www.boostmobile.com/support/faq/phones-devices/activate-a-sprint-phone/

They have to show up here first, then you can use the Sprint version

Sprint is stingy. There are tons of phones off the Sprint blacklist for mvno's (like the Nexus 6) but still aren't "allowed" by Sprint

http://www.prepaidphonenews.com/2014/05/banned-phones-tracking-sprint-blacklist.html

I hate really hate how complicated the world has become mostly thanks to big corporations and their well paid teams of lawyers!!!

Its just CDMA. The GSM side of cellphones isn't this bad.
If you have an unlocked Nexus6 , you can bounce it around Cricket, MetroPCS, AT&T, Tmobile, ect.....all the live long day.

Sprint and Verizon are just stupid about the allowed devices on their network.

A Sprint "prepaid" phone cant be used on contract service, not allowed - and vice-versa. Sprint spark is Sprint spark, prepaid or not.
Their prepaid service includes tethering free, contract service, you have to pay more as an add-on.

Some of the reasons I left them

Phones on the device help page are official Boost phones sold by Boost. When Boost is adding phones to the lineup, sometimes they appear in device help before they are actually for sale. You can get a heads-up of what is to come.

I was assuming anything listed on the device page was all the devices Boost would have available and the ones not yet showing on there site were pending to be added.

Isnt that how that works?

Otherwise why list the devices at all there.

Further reading seems to state that what your implying in the post.
