Help Go SMS Pro

Can any one help me?
I rooted my htc thunderbolt.
I removed the stock message and installed Go SMS Pro. I have played with it for few hours. But for some reason, my service provider, verizon, still charges me for all the text messages. Is it suppose to be free if I use Go SMS Pro?

No, all Go SMS Pro is, is a replacement for the stock messaging app. It does the same function, and therefore, acts the same as it does for billing. You're still sending/receiving text messages through the network, hence why you get billed. However, I believe through Google Talk you can do without getting charged.

Unless I take the pic in landscape it turns it and sends it sideways. Even pics that are on my phone that are straight up and down it will send sideways. My friend uses the app and hers doesn't do that. I can't find anything in settings to fix. Any solutions? I am less than a month new to this whole android operating system.

does anyone else have this problem with the pics going sideways?

no I have the samsung galaxy note. if I want the pic to not go sideways, I actually have to take it in the landscape format, otherwise if I take it in portrait it turns it sideways, drives me crazy!

Start a new message then tap the + in the upper right corner. Then tap groups. If you already have a group in the stock SMS it will be listed under Phone Group. Otherwise tap Go SMS Group, tap the phone menu key, then tap Edit Group...in the upper right corner will be a + that allows you to create a new group. To edit this list of groups tap the phone menu key again and select Batch Mode to delete the groups you do not want.
To send a message to your new group open a new message window, then tap the +, tap groups, then check the group you want to message, then tap OK...the names of recipients in your new group should appear in the box at the top.

Hope this helps.

Will doing this to send a group message allow the group to see all the recipients that are included in the group!? I dont want them to know they are even part of a group message...just looks like a message from me to that one person when they read the message.

I have a Samsung Galaxy s4 active. I downloaded and purchased the VIP package. I am having trouble inserting a video into a message I get "can only send videos under 20M". My video isn't that big. I also see I should have access to advanced settings big MMS for sending 20M and over videos. Can someone help tell me what I need to do.?

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered already.

I just got a new note 4 I couldn't stand the look of the texts.

I got Go sms pro. I really like the skin they have, it's perfect and that's important to me since I do a lot of texting. I participate in a significant amount of group texting. Unfortunately it freeze up in a horrible way when someone sends a group message. Sometimes for 5 minutes after everyone stops.

I use a phone boost program to clear everything.

Whatever is happening also happens in my normal app now as well.

It wasn't doing this before getting this app.

Go apps are notorious for being badly bloated, buggy and having security concerns. Strongly suggest uninstalling Go SMS in favor of a better SMS app such as Textra or Google Messenger.

If you have anything else installed by DU Apps, Cheetah Mobile, Go Development Team or 360 Mobile Security, just to name some of the worst offenders, uninstall them immediately. You really need to get rid of the so-called 'phone booster' too. It's doing far more harm than...well it's not doing ANY good.

Please, read this for a better explanation:

When I get an sms pro group txt from someone I have listed as a private contact it appears to strip off the other group recipients and put the message in the private section as though it was a single person conversation. I am trying to learn if this is by design or if this is the intended way the app should work
