So since Droid Turbo cases are so hard to find these days in Mexico, I had my phone for a week when I suddenly dropped it and damaged the frame and some other parts of the body.

I managed to get a replacement for the battery door and the frame is very cheap even OEM but I have seen in many videos that you have to remove almost everything to separate the digitizer from the frame using Heat.

So my question goes to the following:
  1. Is there a way to use only heat and just take off the battery cover so that I can remove the digitizer with the rest of the inside of the circuitry and all without removing anything else?
  2. Is it better to get the set that costs 200.00 dllrs that has the frame and the digitizer already glued?
  3. Just not worth it since they are just scracthes? (im a perfectionist I cant take it, honestly)
If possible please provide photos, the videos I have found , they only provide info as if the digitizer is damaged but mine is intact.

Thanks for your time!
Your phone is still in great shape! My wife has replaced the glass twice. Neither time was just glass first was the free replacement offered by Verizon or Motorola. Second was me replacing the digitizer- frame- glass which is still not easy and i wouldn't attempt the heat glass only method. After all the trouble one drop and the glass is broken again! We paid almost $175 for the part and it bike much easier than the originals did. I don't think they use the gorilla glass in the replacement parts! So honestly in your case i would let it be and order a case on ebay to cover it and protect it.
