Google Drive Sync Apps?

Question for all ya'll...

Been using Drive AutoSync for a while to keep my phones internal and external memory synced with Google Drive. However, the app for some reason LOVES to sync stuff that hasn't changed in months or years thus altering some of the modified dates.

What's everyone using for the purpose of basically backing up select folder data Google Drive?

The problem I see with FolderSync is that the person who supports it has stopped. And also, from some of the reviews I read on their Google+ support page, it suffers from the same flaw as Drive AutoSync and that is that it edits timestamps which is a MASSIVE no no, IMO. Makes the product worthless.

Can you confirm or deny the timestamp changes?

I setup a test sync of a local folder with a few old files and a sub folder within it with several more old files to Google Drive. None of the time stamps changed. What made you think they would?

FolderSync was updated last October. That's s little while, but not unusual for a mature app. Do you have some information that it has been abandoned?

Edit: FolderSync got a bugfix update today.

That information was based on their Google+ page or whatever. There was talk of a group of people taking over ownership but I didn't see a follow up post.

Anyway, to close this thread, I ended up using Auto DriveSync again and it's been updated and no longer has the same issues on my N6P that it did on my G4. So I'm good. Thanks!
