Recently I saw two movies at the theater - Sisters, and Daddy's Home. Both are comedies, I thought they were both pretty funny.

Sisters: Two sisters decide to throw one last house party before their parents sell their family home. Amy Poehler & Tina Fey are the sisters, with James Brolin & Dianne Wiest as the parents. Some language, but I laughed a ton!

Daddy's Home: Stepdad, Brad Whitaker (Will Ferrell), is a radio host trying to get his stepchildren to love him and call him Dad. But his plans turn upside down when the biological father, Dusty Mayron (Mark Wahlberg), returns. This was pretty funny, & as a parent I could somewhat understand some of the emotions the stepdad was feeling.

Neither of these did very well with the critics, but I thought they were both funny! I also saw them on $5 movie night

I got The Man From U.N.C.L.E. from Redbox. It was fun, funny, and a very enjoyable action movie. The performances are solid, good writing, good action scenes.

I also rented Sicario. I had heard good things, and it lived up to the hype. It's an exciting, gritty, fast paced movie. Benicio del Toro is great in it.

Finally saw The Martian and I liked it. Several of my friends read the book and hated the movie, saying the book was a LOT better.

I really enjoyed the movie as well, haven't read the book

Get Hard, with Will Ferrell & Kevin Hart. Lots of language but pretty funny, & I don't even like Will Ferrell much.

Hateful Eight is the only big one I've seen this month, other than rewatching The Force Awakens. Both of which are amazing. Oh, and i guess Creed, which was really good.

I finally got around to seeing the Steve Jobs film. Must say I enjoyed it, although the technology took a back seat really, and it was more about his relationships with other people. He was definitely not portrayed as a nice guy, which probably is true.

Ah To Kill a Mockingbird is my all time favorite book and it's a GREAT movie!

I've been trying to catch up on Oscar nominated movies that I missed. Revenant is amazing! But be forewarned: hard to eat food during the movie due to all the puking, spittle, snot hanging from nose, frozen chapped lips, eating animals raw, and of course blood.

I watched Sin City a couple nights ago, it's super violent - no wonder they shot it in black & white!

Toward the end I just rolled over & went to sleep, I wasn't really enjoying it anyway.

Tonight I saw Zootopia, it's an animated movie but it was good. Just recently I've also seen the 1st & 2nd Kung Fu Panda movies, those are really good, too.

I recommend them all! [emoji3]

Watched The Revenant last night. Pretty good I must say, enjoyed it. Very brutal and violent in places, but not too over the top.

Just got back from seeing Zootopia (actually Zootropolis in Europe), and have to say... Wow... Best Disney Movie ever!

Forget Batbloke vs Superchap, this is the movie that you should watch.

Told ya it was good! I actually like the Kung Fu Panda movies a little bit more, but I really liked Zootopia too.

Last weekend I saw both Hotel Transylvania movies & I liked them, too. I've probably seen more animated movies in the last couple of months than I saw during my entire childhood [emoji14]
