Anyone put Cynogenmod on the Boost Mobile Volt 2 yet? If so what method did you use? Thanks.

Can't yet. First we need a method to bypass the locked bootloader, same as the boost Mobile lg g stylo.

When we get that, I'd be glad to make a device tree.

Get me a boot.img and a recovery.img and I can start on a twrp device tree that will be ready to go once bootloader lock is bypassed. Ill need someone to run a few commands for me too, but that's after the boot and recovery upload.

Mines away at LG being repairs but would be happy to pull those if no one else has when I get it back

Forgot to mention I don't have the device but I can get someone ready to build once we get a bootloader bypass. The leon and the stylo are close enough to the volt 2 that it shouldnt be hard. Ill keep my eye out for you or someone else to be ready, just post here or pm me. Either way is fine.

yes..get a terminal emulator.type
"ls -al /dev/block/platform/dw_mmc/by-name"(without the " ")
then
"dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18 of=/storage/externalSD/boot.img"
"dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p19 of=/storage/externalSD/recovery.img"
.....u might need to install busybox.
if it works i need the boot.img ,laf.img,and recovery.img please
i gotta bad bad brick n that would help me fix

As a proud owner of a hard bricked boost LG Volt 2 (LS751) I would love a boost rom to flash it with.
I hope someone will be kind enoug to provide the brains with the requisite files, and the brains kind enough to unlock the pesky bootloader.

@whoshotjr2006 @megatron80 Any progress on a recovery image? I'm new to Android but willing to assist. I was already at LS751ZV5 when I rooted and have the boot.img/recovery.img (mmcblk0p18/mmcblk0p19) if you need them. Where do I post them? Thank-you.

Couldn't you guys just root with kingroot, use the kingroot to SuperSU switcher script, get flashfire then flash a cm12.1 ROM (if someone built one) along with gapps? Sorry I don't have this phone but I thought it was still possible because I've done this to my kindle fire 7 5th gen and successfully installed cm12.1, resurrection ROM, slim ROM, and the nexus ROM all on it even tho it had a locked bootloader

Is there a tether method for the volt 2? Boost mobile 5.1.1

My freind had this volt 2 he got from a friend but they can't talk to each other the volt 2 is frp locked and we don't know the account I tryed to boot into recovery and install the recovery.img and boot.img but they went there when I went to were I downloaded them to
