[FREE] Pregnancy Calculator+Calendar [App]

Can't seem to find your privacy policy on Google Play. As your application has full network access and the application contains sensitive user data this is important.

Still no sign of the privacy policy in the play store....

But Still no Privacy Policy... Its almost as if you don't want to do it.

A privacy policy is not required by Google for developers. I didn't make you any promises. Why are you still bugging me?

Waiting for your feedback :)

You asked for Feedback on a public forum...
As mentioned by at least one other poster, this application tracks information that is incredibly sensitive. A policy saying what you are going to do with it seems like a reasonable request that would not inconvenience you.

The fact that you don't see this as important should be seriously taken into consideration by anyone reading this thread and making their own choice about whether to use it.

As you correctly say, they should probably use a different app if they think that their information should be treated securely.

Bugging you, because of our concern about user's private data and what happens to it?

Your app is in the US Play store,
That's HIPAA. As I already posted.

It's in the UK Play store.
Data Protection Act, 1998

If an app on Play is breaking the law, Google can take it down, and your developer's account suspended or closed!

This line of discussion is now going in circles.
And I think that EVERYONE should take this post as advice, when deciding if they should use any software from this developer
Advice offered in good faith, and something users should heed. ;)
You might want to check up on HIPAA compliance as well.
http://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/index.html
You don't want to end up on the wrong side of the law.
And even more great advice when dealing with any health information in the US.

That said, it is the developers prerogative to A) listen to the feedback he requested and B) make sure he isn't violating HIPAA or the health privacy laws or other countries.

Since these points have been clearly made, and the developer has chosen his path, let's let this line of discussion end.:)

No more feedback from me. This thread is closed for that as far as I'm concerned. The moderator hath spoken.

I think that "this line of discussion" means "discussion about privacy policy".

Nice attitude there. And if I install your app on my device, it very much *is* my business, and I'd like to know what your app is doing with it.
I answered before that:
Full network access: to show you ads, the app needs to get them from the Internet.
No personal data is collected.

"It is none of your business" was the answer to: "Its almost as if you don't want to do it."

Well as to feedback for other aspects of your app. Michael is not pregnant and not giving birth, so he's not likely to be using it.
OK :) I am waiting feedback from interested users.

Have a look at your Play Store reviews, which should be people who are actually using it
I read and respond to all reviews.
