Any Gun owners out there?

This ended up on my wish list after messing with a friend's chambered in 308. I'm laying low for it chambered in 243 Winchester. It's also available in 6.5 Creedmoor,

Ruger Precision bolt action rifle.

Been buying .22 ammo every chance I get. Stuff's going to dry up crazy this fall.

I also had to send my 22/45 back to Ruger for some repair. Hopefully I'll get it back in a couple weeks....but since they're apparently doing it for free, I won't be mad if it takes longer. I bought the gun used a few years back...and it's about 10 years old by my best guess.

.22 ammo already out everywhere.. Even Walmart! WHY is .22 disappearing?! It can barely do its job..

The political events of the last few years have introduced a ton of new people to the hobby. And then they get their wives into it as well, and .22 is a good starting place for them. The downside is demand is insane.

Combined with the fact that you get a bunch of old retired guys with all the free time in the world who camp out at the gun stores to buy up all the .22. They've got pallets of it at home. I guess they're planning to eventually take on the US military with the weakest commercial round available?

Talked with my son today, and asked him how many guns he has now....
I knew that he has about 6 of mine, never fired them in the last 25 years, so gave them to him.
Seems he has added on one or two, I lost count after he got to 25
I've been meaning to pull all mine out and take a group picture. Think I'll have to put them all on the floor to have room.

And how would you be using this?
Just curious [emoji5]

I love long range paper punching. I had a sweet Remington years ago and foolishly sold it off. It was chambered in 243 Winchester. It's a very hot flat shooting round that I absolutely fell in love with. It's a varmit round but I'm not into killing things anymore. To drop something to eat is way in my scope of things to do but I'm no sports killer.

Watching vids about the Ruger Precision 243 putting rounds on target at 1,100 yards got me excited.
I only have an 800 yard playground but that should be fun. I haven't been this excited about a gun since I bought my EDC a few years back.
