Virgin Mobile vs. Cricket

Im thinking about.buying the galaxy s5 but from which carrier? Right now im using virgin mobile. The service is ok. They have the phone i want. But support is aweful.
How is cricket?
Cricket has unlimited calling text and data.
Cap-500mb
Vm has unlimuted text and data
Cap-2.5gb

Cricket is great I use it here and I have no issues with it. Cricket also has other plans with 2.5 Gb of data. they are owned by AT&T and the service is phenomenal. I used to have Sprint and they were awful had them for 15 years making the move the cricket has been the best thing I've done.

First check coverage for your area > VM=Sprint, Cricket=AT&T. In general AT&T have better coverage, but it varies with location.

The coverage for both phones are good in my area. I dont use much data so the 500mb of data should be fine for me. I checked my phone and I only used 40mbs worth since I use wifi mostly.
How significant of a change is there between At&t coverage vs spring coverage?

AT&T has more coverage in rural areas, so if you travel a lot I'd go with Cricket.

Quick?

With Cricket's basic plan, after 500mb cap is reached, does it brake to 3G speed?

Is it still fast enough for email/video?

Yes it does go to 3G, and as for email I would say no issues, for video I'm not sure, but I would assume it would buffer more. I have never gone over my data, sorry couldn't be of more help

It depends what features you use. Compare plans on paper and at impartial sites. I had AT&T before and now have Cricket. I am very happy with the Cricket service. I use certain features constantly.
