What Shows Are You Watching This Season

Re watching the original Star trek on Netflix. Special effects and costumes are hilarious.
I recently watched the revised Star Trek TOS. Where they redone all the special effects using CGI, and it's in HD as well, because it was originally shot on 35mm movie film, and not NTSC or whatever.

Costumes can't be updated though, but then future genre Sci-Fi will often show the era it was made in, e.g. Space 1999(1974-76) is a notable example of that IMO...."Bell-bottoms 1999" more like. LOL.

What gets me is, the original Star Trek from 1966-69 is now available in glorious 1080p, while the much later Next Generation, DS9 and Voyager are stuck in NTSC 480i, because that's what they were made in.

It's on local TV for me, I think on WCCO. I'm not sure where else it can be found but it's about some kind of space bugs that get into people's heads & eat a part of their brain, changing their behavior. Set in Washington DC so it's a bunch of politicians being affected.
Ok found it, it's on CBS I can watch it with my CBS all access subscription. Love Tony Shalhoub!

P.s ok this show is great! My new favorite.
