Because of memory shortage I rooted my phone and installed Link2sd; initially the free version, but needing more memory freed up, I recently upgraded to the Plus version.
I followed the instructions about creating a partition on the card (though it isn't clear to me if that was necessary: the card already had a 2GB ext2 partition, but I made another 2GB ext4 partition anyway). After that, Link2sd connected all the data files to the card, but it gives an error every time I try to link .dex files (for both pre-installed and installed apps).
How can I get the .dex files to link? I always get a message like:
"rm failed for /data/*com.android.providers.settings*@classes.dex, I/O error"
or "rm failed for /data/sdext2/dalvik-cache/*bbc.mobile.news.ww*@classes.dex, I/O error".
