Just got the new G4 32gb from Amazon yesterday. It only cost me $179.00 and no tax.
After a go with the Pure X version of Moto which was a huge failure IMHO, the newer G4 seems like a keeper. The battery is 100% and the screen is awesome. I love the thinness of the phone for a 5.5 inch. I loaded all my apps on it, over 100, and it appears to have no lag at all.

I currently use a Nexus 6 but the battery is weaker than I wanted. This G4 will keep me going until this fall when they release the new Nexus line. Had the 6P but it was not enough of an upgrade to the 6 so I sold it.

If I do not like the new Nexus line this fall then I will just keep the G4. It really is a great phone for the cost!

Had a Moto X Pure and was only getting about 5 to 6 hours of "my" use. And the screen was not 100% touch correct.
The G4 is getting a full days of "my" use with about 20% battery left. And the screen is 100% touch correct.
I do not watch any movies on my phone. TV for that.....lol. I do play poker on it however.
I personally do not care for a fingerprint sensor and waterproofing. NOT needed by me at least!

Haha I also got a 32gb moto g4 to replace the Nexus 6. Did you get the N6 from Amazon too?

The battery life of the N6 has gotten alot worse after 6 months.

I really hate these non replaceable battery phones. If I didn't want the ture unlock status so I can activate on all 4 carriers, I wouldn't touch these phones with a stick.

So can somebody post the rooting guide. I need to root this sucker.
