When I heard Trump's public request to Russia to hack Hillary's emails for dirt I couldn't help wonder what the Republicans and Fox would have said if Hillary or Bernie had asked Russia to hack Trump? Asking a foreign power, never mind one that's not wholly friendly, to use espionage to interfere in your political processes? I have a feeling that they'd have been denounced as traitors before they'd finished speaking, and Trump would have been leading the cries for them to be jailed.

Trump being a hypocrite doesn't surprise me at all, but why are the party that (for the next few months) he represents so lacking in principle?

Umm.. He didn't actually ask Russia to "hack" anything. In fact, all her emails were/are deleted so anything related to said information would have to just be already isolated in some storage device. Ppl should really stop putting words in other ppl's mouths and then getting upset at the implications. [emoji12] I believe he said somewhere that he believed the Russians probably already has said info, so in reality it wasn't exactly a "hack" request. Yes I know.. Splitting hairs, Lmfao. But legally sound. Kind of like how someone can get into legal trouble by telling someone else that they're gonna kick their butt, except legal penalties are non applicable if it is worded a specific way. Same concept [emoji41]

OK, so by your reading he says "I reckon Russia may already have hacked this stuff, so can they let us have it". That reading still implies that he'd be happy with Russian having hacked Clinton's email as long as it serves his ends.

And I think my point still stands: if you reverse the people involved do you really believe that Fox/GOP or Trump would look at the niceties and decide to let it pass, or would go in with the most emotive label they could?

As in: It doesn't matter so much what you do when you know people are looking, it's what you do when you think people AREN'T looking that shows who you are inside. The Dems and Hillary are despicable and this helps prove it, more reason to vote Republican this year. [emoji41]

The title of this thread is plural.....Since we're down to one turd on the GOP side currently, can we discuss some candidates past, and remember what treasures they were?

Mr. Kerry served overseas with distinction, then came home to continue a life of public service.

When I think of how Donald Trump spoke recently about the senior Senator from Arizona, a man who followed a similar, but even more intense career path as Mr. Kerry, I get sick to my stomach.

When I think back on the state of the economy in this country, at the end of eight years of a Bush administration, I get sick to my stomach.

When I consider the possibility of Mr. Trump taking control of both the economy and the armed forces of this nation, I get..........

Well, why should I even bother to finish the sentence? People should be able to see patterns developing.

He's a politician, and politicians talk a lot. When you talk a lot, you're going to get it wrong once in a while.

I'm kinda shocked myself... The ppl of America have no idea of the horrors in store from these "nominated" candidates if they reach that office. At first I was looking at Trump during the primaries because of initial possibilities. Then came "Hell no" to Hilliary and was gonna be willing to vote Trump ONLY to keep Hilliary outta that office, but NOW..?! He's said too much. I'm gonna look into the Independents/Green Party because neither of the Nominated candidates deserve my vote, IMHO. [emoji48]

but 3rd parties have a very hard time winning...

here is what I am afraid will happen.
of the logical people that are scared of Trump...
and some of them also hate Hillary. so this group will splinter off and go for the 3rd party.

now you have the Screw Drumpf group that will be split into 2 ... Hillary & 3rd party.
and the Troll-Drumpf group will be united .. 1 full mob voting ...
scary situation.. that might leave USA playing Russian roulette with Trump pulling the trigger.

so.... my point....
of the 2 nominees... Hillary is the way lesser of the 2 evils.
Drumpf = crazy, liar, uncontrollable, super ego, bully, doesn't have a clue, untrust worthy, psychopath
Hillary = greedy, politician, liar

I couldn't agree more. As much as I dislike her, I hate Trump more. We can only hope that "Citizens United" gets overturned for the next election. Too much soft $$ in the system, as Good old George stated many years ago: We don't have leaders, we have "owners."

Corporations are people too? My arse...

I dunno, but I DO know that Hilliary is inherently evil and about to unleash an unintelligent amount of terrorists & terrorist refugees with the Syrian mass immigration if elected President.
