OK. i had an lg optimus f6 and so did my brother. well he asked me to install TWRP recovery on his phone. Well a month after doing this.(and i warned him of the dangers) we flashed Xperion rom to the phone. and it worked without a problem. well he went back into the recovery looking at the options and accidentally wiped the system OS off the phone. so i created a back-up of all my files and used it to fix his phone. well it worked but i soon came a cross a problem a week after I installed an app that would slow the phone down extremely i did a factory reset and applied the back-up to my phone. as soon as i booted up the phone everything went south. first it was small. my phone would turn on and the home screen wouldn't appear at first. well after two days i started to get an error message that says process android system has stopped responding and then reboot and it kept doing that so i wiped the OS and re-flashed the ROM (thinking it was the back-up) and that didn't work. so i turned the phone off and haven't messed with it until recently to my shock that my phone wouldn't turn on even though the battery is charged (i tested it) and all i get is a red blinking led and the occasional solid green led then it will stop.it has the signs of a brick phone except for the led and an occasional strong vibration.

has any one had any of the problems above and knows how to fix them.

ps. my brother phone worked fine after using the SAME back-up on his

After you recover a nandroid or do a rom install , it is always advisable to wipe the dalvic and cashe partition. On a rom install , its always a good idea to factory reset . After you install a rom , wait at least 5 miniutes so you let phones resources settle . Then do a nandroid. Then copy it off the device for a safe fresh recovery when you need it.

Be nice to each other and our devs.
Thanks
