Help Buggy Update??

Several days ago I updated my phone. It was a system update I believe with some sort of patch. After said update, my google play store has stopped working. Gives me a message that google play store has stopped and it keeps popping up. Also, I can't turn on permisions on apps because it has detected screen overlay...?? I have searched for fixes but nothings seems to work- I have cleared data, cache, rebooted, used safe mode. Unfortunately, I did not backup my phone before all this happened. Had no idea this type of things could happen! By the way, I'm a first time Android user.

Am I the only one going through this problem???

Then you can use this on your phone if your on METROPCS,

READ through the instructions till you understand how the unbrick process using the new LG UP works.
Then download the needed files they provide and do as instructed.
SAVE all your apps and information you have that you want to save . It is not too complicated.
You will need a computer to do this. So take you time and your phone will be as new.
If you are on tmobile let me know and I'll send you a link for their Hardware.

oh geez...now this is happening to my phone too. i kdz'd back to 20b and i took the ota to 20c. i updated all the apps and playstore was running fine. then i rooted with adb and when i went to the playstore to download flashify it constantly says unfortunately playstore has stopped...help
